Tyler, can you put up tutorials for some of your favorite 5A tricks? There are some 5A tutorials already on youtube but a lot of them are pretty basic and a lot of repeats of the same tricks. It would be cool to learn some new stuff.

Okay, so.... What can I do to get more control over the speed on my catch after a bind? I made the bad mistake of buying a metal yoyo and after my first day my knuckles are really aching after being knocked around so much. All you pros make it seem so fluid and effortless but my yoyo either doesn't come back at all, or it returns so fast it's like it's intentionally trying to kill me. I'm also having a little trouble nailing down the angle of the throw in a way I don't get wobbles. I'm sure that'll come with more practice but it makes trying to bind annoying as heck and very inconsistent.

Hey Allon! So most pros kind of use their throw hand thumb and index finger as kind of the buffer between their knuckles and yoyo - counterweight placed on the outside of your middle / ring / pinky finger, string running through, yoyo placed between Also try yoyoing longer to use more spin time, and you won’t bind as fast 💖 find the happy medium - learn a few more 5a tricks and try them at the end of your combo just to continue sharpening your skills For the plane of your yoyo and less wobbles, try throwing more down toward the ground and less outward from your throw hand shoulder - sometimes your yoyo will lose its plane on the way down through your breakaway if it’s thrown too high Hope this helps! Feel free to comment and let me know!

@@RecessIntl Thanks King 💜 Bed time for now but back to practice as soon as I'm up tomorrow. I'll be back with some progress updates. Do you check private messages on instagram too? I may shoot a message there and bother you about your life n stuff if you open message requests.

@@RecessIntl I shot you a message. It's probably buried in the 'requests' tab of your inbox, something they do for a lot of business accounts, so you won't get a notif for it until you accept it. I met some snobby player today telling me not to play 5a so it's nice having actual pros be like 'no you got this'. Out of sheer respect alone my next throw has to be a Recess now.
