I love this. Oops, alternate picked Nuno's tapping... oops, alternate picked Gilbert's three-E's human capo pull-offs... oops, cleaned up YJM's sloppy sweeps with alternate picking. Anton is just in a league of his own. Amazing.

Yngwie's way of doing it sounds way better. That clip isn't what I'd call his finest hour, but when he's on form (especially back in 1986 when he first played that song live), there's nothing quite like it. He has a sense of fluidity that you can only really achieve by (partially) using economy picking as well as sweeps here and there, it's almost legato like, which is much more pleasant to my ears, as far as arpeggiated sequences go.

I've watched this videos a few times now and it's when you compare yourself to malmsteen that I notice a problem. You play great, technical, fast and accurate but as a fan of malmsteen it seems as though malmsteen developed the tone around how he played. I can't argue that you can perform it more economically but honestly, it doesn't sound better. It's as if (and maybe likely) that the song is designed around not just his tone but also his style. Malmsteen himself my not have realized that but its clear you don't. Almost like a song sung by a person with a lisp or a slur can sing a song but when people without can sound good, it doesn't sound right. Not that that is the intended purpose but its still a absorbable difference
@AntonOparinENG3 жыл бұрын
It's just physics and you're just a fan, his technique doesn't allow him to choose what he wants from the sound. And I'm not talking about myself or that I'm better, it's absolutely not, it's just physics
@twich1553 жыл бұрын
@@AntonOparinENG you're probably right. You are an amazing player for sure, I just wish you would come out with more content. I actually discovered you on StevieT's channel in a video about kids who are better than him. You were like 13 in the video and you just blew me away. "No one did it, in 12 years." Whatever you say. I am practicing Get Out of My Yard in standard tuning. And I'm getting good. I'm noticing my mistakes, and improving myself. I already have a video up on my channel of me playing what I can of GOOMY. I will become like you, Anton. Furthermore, I have seen TWO other videos on KZbin of people playing GOOMY an a standard guitar. And when I'm done, there will be only four. All you need to worry about for now, Anton, is to keep playing what you feel. I will be in this little group one day. One day.

Individual voice on an instrument seems to be how a players logic works? I have over complicated things in my head I think I am hearing Lol I understand the fool the ear phenom, your brain will add the note or the swing. Do you hear that?
