Great video. I just started playing again after years with my friends. They are now a tank and healer. I opted to become a dps. In the past I always took Jester so now I went with magic with psykeerer as goal. Just don't know much about it. So hope I will be able to see a guide for magic from you next. If not I wonder when you make one if I will reminiscent about my own journey and/or learn something new.

Glad you liked the video! It's sometimes refreshing to change the pace so I'm happy to hear you wanted to take up something different :) I'm actually working on an Acrobat guide next because that's been slightly more requested but I will be making a Magician guide too eventually! Just might take a while before it comes out ^^ For the time being, I recommend checking out my element video (my latest release) and check the section for elements in skills so you'll know how to make the most out of them! :) Feel free to ask if you have any questions about Magicians or anything else about the game, I'm happy to answer before the guide is out ;D

@@Silverwilg I understand, the whole jumble with elements is tough... as long as you know what element to use and enhance your weapon's element with it, you should be good to go x) And well yeah it is the least played class, and there's a good reason for that. I'll explain that better in the guide in the future :) The guide priority however was determined by my viewers and not general popularity x) Wish you luck on your adventures though, and have fun! ^^

Glad you asked! I've been thinking of making more Flyff content beside guidemaking such as regular gameplay and some challenges that I came up with, things both hilarious and most ridiculous. I've also been thinking of delving into some of my other favourite genres in the channel such as RPG, survival, adventure and strategy games and make it a gimmick of mine to take on games at their highest difficulties, or the highest that I can manage while going nuts and laughing along the way :P Some of the content will be on KZbin and some on Twitch, depending on which platform the game's pacing feels more natural at, so I recommend checking both if you don't want to miss out on anything :)

@@AdrianePonsaran Oh don't worry, guides are a passion project to me! I spend a lot of time helping out people in the game as well, and instead of me telling the same thing to every person one at a time, I want that information to be available to everyone, even those beyond my reach merely with a click of a button! I couldn't be happier than receiving the gratitude of people who the guides have helped tremendously :) And of course, I know that transferring from a game to another is always the hardest to the viewers. Not meaning to say that I'm going to stop making content about Flyff altogether anytime soon, rather have more diversity for people who might have similar interests and for more stuff to watch than just a guide every two weeks c: I'm gonna keep up with Flyff mostly, but I'll be adding something different from time to time - and if people like it, I'll make more!

Thank you for this guide. I want an Assist that can go alone and can be a decent support in party at the same time. Any recommendations? The way I see it, str and dex is the right way for stats.
@emenalus
@emenalus Жыл бұрын
Hey there! Glad to hear that you liked the guide ^^ If you want to double as a decent support and perform well in a solo scenario, I think that the best of both worlds would be to consider becoming a Moon Beam Assist. You'd be building INT like any other support Assist, but you would also max out the "Moon Beam" spell which scales on INT, allowing you to take mobs by yourself easily (and keep yourself alive with heals) while still being able to buff and heal others with strong scaling bonus. You can also opt in for AoE if you become a Ringmaster at 60 :) That of course depends on what your own vision of your Assist is. If you would rather fight with knuckles instead, a 1v1 Assist certainly works the best with a good mix of STR and DEX, but that of course takes away from your support capabilities. Hope this helped, and let me know if there's still something you'd like to know! ^^

Hey there, welcome to the channel! :) Unfortunately the weapons displayed there aren't part of any vendors' catalogue but simply a Flyffipedia's database for all Assist weapons, and these ones in particular are rare drops from monsters and giants. They might be sold by players, but they will surely fetch top coin x) Better stick to vendor weapons for now!

Hi, i'm new to this flyff universe, so i really appreciate the guide you provide. Old guide recommend billposter for going solo and be able to mob monsters. But before billposter, i need to be assist first. Any tips how i distribute my stats? Do i take vagrant skill too or just skip skill allocation until i become assist? And how skill allocation for assist so that when i become billposter, it would be billposter that i want?
@emenalus
@emenalus Жыл бұрын
Hey Dian! Glad to hear the guide really helped you, I'm happy to hear that the video is getting its purpose across x) While the other guide you checked out might recommend you to choose a solo path, the ultimate decision is really *up to you.* If you prefer to focus on AoE for example, then you should of course follow your own heart above anything else!! ^^ Assuming you went for the solo AKA 1v1 route just like I mention in the video, you should set your focus on STR for damage and maybe some DEX for any potential stats you want that might be missing. How much of a certain stat you want/need is up to everyone individually, but do feel free to use my personal preference of 40% hit rate and 70% attack speed as a benchmark and go from there in case you aren't really sure :) As for skilling, I think in Universe your vagrant skills actually reset once you change to your 1st job, so you can use your points freely on those. On your 2nd job change they don't reset automatically though, so be sure not to put points there anymore once you become an Assist! For a 1v1 Assist, you'd want to put points on buffs that enhance your damage output such as Haste for Attack Speed, Beef Up for STR and ESPECIALLY Accuracy for Hit Rate! That one's really important for landing your auto attacks, so do max it out as soon as you can! If you continue on the 1v1 route as a Billposter, you'll be making use of the same buffs, so whatever you consider useful for a 1v1 Assist is likely going to be equally as useful as a 1v1 Billposter :) It's the same playstyle but with just a different name! If you do regret some of your skill decision though, you will get a spare Re-skill once you become an Assist to rearrange your skill points. Any re-skills after that are expensive premiums though, so do look carefully into what skills you're adding ^^ If you are interested in other playstyles though, do watch the portions for the specific playstyles that I've chaptered down on the video - they're only a few minutes long and contain a lot of useful information! Flyff is a game that's a lot about making the kind of a character that you want, so don't be afraid to use some of your own creativity and explore a little bit - one job can be made to serve many different purposes, and Billposter is no exception! Hope this helped, and if you have any more concerns, don't be afraid to shoot up another question! I'm more than glad to help

Do you know how some people are doing it? I see people naked wearing nothing caring only 1 sword and being able to tank bunch of herded mobs from just being buffed?
@emenalus
@emenalus Жыл бұрын
Well... I'm taking the obvious elephant in the room out of the way and ask whether the person is actually on level with monsters. Level gap makes a huge difference in damage taken and if the tank is like 20 or more levels higher, then I don't find that entirely impossible. Not like a person would be taking it seriously anyway if all they're carrying is just a single sword! There might also be some hidden gear pieces like jewelry that they might still be wearing to raise their stats covertly. They can also hide cloaks, masks and fashion, and nowadays you can even hide your helmet. Looks can also be deceiving~ Lastly, I'd ask what kind of a tank they are as there's more to it than just damage sponge tanks such as knights. If they were a blade or a ranger for example, they'd have incredible amounts of DEX and therefore a lot of block rate, rendering them actually able to avoid most of the damage they're taking. So there's a lot of factors, and I don't find it all that unlikely for it to be possible. However I'd question whether they're actually leveling like that - at the very least it won't help them xD

Lets say I were to go FS, but i dont have any connections. What would be the nedt course of action for me to properly level up? Ive been hearing the term "main leveler" and some others things and its all really confusing.
@emenalus
@emenalus 5 ай бұрын
Alright, so if you were going for Full Support on your own, there's probably three ways you could go about it. First, as people have been saying, you should get a main leveler. What they refer to is the fact that Flyff actually allows you to do multiboxing (AKA running multiple accounts at the same time), so you could have multiple windows open and rotate between those characters as you please. You would play another character that would be your main, and your FS would be there to offer buffs and heals as needed to support your main. This is the least MMO thing you could do, but a lot of people tend to think that this is the only way to play the game - and the leveling series that's been running on my channel for quite some time is there to prove that opinion wrong xD Second, you could start actively looking for a partner. That's how FS were originally meant to be played, but the presence of multiboxing eliminated most players' willingness to invest time into looking for someone to play with and rather take matters to their own hands. However there are still people out there who would love the company, and patiently asking in the shout channel in a city might net you someone to play with :) You'll be at their mercy entirely though, and unless they're willing to also give you a cut for helping them level up, you'll end up dirt poor since the one leveling you naturally gets all the loot x) Lastly, you could go a little hybrid and make yourself a Moon Beam build. A new skill was introduced in Flyff Universe which I particularly showcase in this video, which allows you to inflict a powerful DoT effect on an enemy which scales on INT (an ideal stat for FS). This would give you more autonomy and the possibility to farm even if you got nobody to play with, but of course having a partner to play with would always be ideal. That being said though, without Moon Beam you'll rely entirely on somebody taking care of you, so having the option is great if you're going to depend on others ^^ If you were left with any questions about any of these, feel free to reply :) Hope this answers all your questions though!!

Would i still have options to support others if I go the ringmaster route instead? @@emenalus
@emenalus
@emenalus 5 ай бұрын
@@wrenascence Ringmaster IS the support route :) Billposter would be the more offensive route. In a way it would still be possible, but you wouldn't have the group buffs exclusive to Ringmaster that makes them so unique and building full INT on BP isn't likely an ideal choice ;D And breaking apart to become a hybrid would make you less capable to be a support character. So if you want to be a support player, I would recommend sticking to Ringmaster. You can do AoE with Ringmasters too, but that usually means you'll have to sacrifice some INT for extra STA x)

Hey again! Iv seen you have tanky BP, maybe you will give me advice. I actually play from time to time. BP AOE 72 now. I have choosen int because longer buff time. But after getting int aoe i was smashed… Burst crack + g knuck with 19% skill bonus and 0 str is better than ‚the int AOE’ with about 80int. I know 19% skill bonus is huge. Consider other factor - int aoe is soo slow, consumes 6x more. Whats you opinion?
@emenalus
@emenalus 5 ай бұрын
Hey there! First of all, I'm really sorry if you made an INT BP simply because you wanted to take after me. Back when I released this video, I was merely on the phase of experimenting whether the INT AoE is actually good, and once I reached level 70, I came to the conclusion that it's the worst decision I've ever made xD I'm backing you on this one, the INT AoE is ABSOLUTE garbage. Even with 40 points in INT, my BP ended up doing LESS damage with Bgvur Tialbold than with Burst Crack, and that skill scales even less with INT. Furthermore, Burst Crack is much faster than the other, so even if the INT scaling did eventually make Bgvur deal more damage, the speed would still make Burst Crack have more overall DPS. And as you said, managing MP with that skill is such a pain in the ass x.x My opinion? Re-stat as fast as you can. I'm still in the middle of doing so myself 😂
@Pyrografpl
@Pyrografpl 5 ай бұрын
@@emenalus hah thx! My decision was to be self sufficient. Im not very ambitius to try hard. Rebuffing every 4min is actually painfull. Do you think haste buff can somehow help increase DPS with burst crake? I have idea to leave 70 int as it is, 70 sta and rest in str.
@emenalus
@emenalus 5 ай бұрын
@@Pyrografpl Of course! Haste increases your casting speed, so it essentially makes your Burst Cracks faster. Try casting a few with and without Haste, you should be able to notice a difference :) EDIT: What you wanna build is completely up to you, it doesn't have to be the most damage effective thing in the world if you're not comfortable playing it!! It is! Moon Beam is a strong spell when maxed out and you can use it as soon as you reach level 15. So you have the choice of either playing Assist traditionally with a knuckle and 1v1/AoE, or you can even get to 60 with a full INT build. I should still remind you that you can rearrange your stat points at level 60, so whichever approach you choose shouldn't really matter ^^

Assuming you mean a full Support assist, definitely a Historic Stick for its great casting speed boost! A cheaper alternative is the Hyper Stick with little less Casting Speed at level 57 c: For a BP, you would wanna go for a stick with as much INT as possible for maximum buff duration.
