I woke up today and wanted to play bo3 since it's been such a long time but seeing that we must go through all this to play safely truly sucks and discourages me... Even though you say it is safe I just can't help but feel scared of playing in multiplayer, it doesn't make sense to be forced to play with a VPN and a patch made by the community 😔I'm like "maybe I can try to play it on ps5" but if I end up buying a game where I can't even find full lobbies or be against dudes in god mode I'll be so disappointed. @galaxycupcake9258 i dont use malwarebytes for this very reason. It always false flags things and puts up restrictions for no reason. I personally just use Windows Defender and have never had any issues with the patch.

@GlitchedPerception i wouldn't doubt that. I'm getting loads of comments saying the game just isn't working and I always tell them to check if its their antivirus. I personally only use windows defender and I have never had an issue with bo3.

yes, the patch works in asia. If you choose to remove the patch, the easiest way to do it is uninstalling and reinstalling your game. Hackers have no control over you or your steam. The worst thing that can happen is getting DDoS'd or kicked out of your game. You really dont have to worry about getting hacked.

if you're playing mp in private games you're safe with the patch, if you play mp publically you want to turn off friends only and remove your password on the patch to find games and still be safe.

@Acecdawg you have to manually run the patch before every time you start black ops 3 and leave it running in the background. same with the vpn. with the server browser thing, I have no idea. I dont play public games, but I know that steam public servers can be extremely slow.

But I like to play with ppl but the server browser has to load every single available joinable map and it takes almost longer then the gta 5 loading screen at times. And it has to load all the servers every time the SB is opened, so it’s super fun when games aren’t joinable or when it lets you try to join full lobbies and you have to restart the server load again and again😂

I have just downloaded it and extracted to my desktop instead of the specific folder as it was not included on the github page that you had to extract to a specific folder. Ive played like this for 3 weeks. I am kinda worried that im at risk now?

@maximedelobel2438 if it's working j wouldn't worry about it. It still shows up as being a protected process then you're okay. I would recommend just throwing it in your bo3 folder to be safe though.
