Also u must delete or move the sfx folders to remove all lightings as right the lighting doesn’t work. And if it the bb and the emulator got updated with the lighting fixed you can add the sfx folders back. Also to note this, try to install many visual, and a little bit of gameplay mods to get the remastered graphics you want.

@@EmberedAshe actually, there is shadps4 build that fixed the excessive brightness and lightings. Use the latest build. And then u should use some of the mods that is an actual mod like bb enhanced, and bb remastered project.

if someone is facing the issue where the emulator crashes when you try to play any game then it's not your hardware fault as I had the same issue but got it working all you need to do i boot it with command prompt I recommend watching the BrutalSam's video where he shows how to boot it using some command prompt, I don't know how but It worked for me.

You have to transfer your game for your ps4 to pc and put them in the folder where shadPS4 is located

@@kimisha19 The patches menu isn't an option for me either. Although It may have been that I have overwritten the game several times with the patches/mods. If this is the case I will start over from a fresh install, because I don't have experience with emulating PS4 games.

I've downloaded the emulator for the first time today I got the very last version from action tab on github but the emulator closes automatically when I try to run any game, no error msg, log, nothing it just closes. Win10 - 10700k - rtx 3070 - 32gb of ram - nvme, everything up to date. Any ideas what could be the issue? (also tried running as admin)

If you've enabled any resolution patches, try disabling them. Also, if you by any chance have the sys_modules dumped for ShadPS4, delete libSceDiscMap.sprx. As for the system requirements, I'm honestly not even sure. I've seen people run the game with GTX 1070's at okay framerates.

odd that when i clock to download cheats and patches, i only get 2 cheats max from any of the 3 dropdown options. When i try to open shadPS4 pops a window that says "Windows protected your pc". Any ideas how to safely disable the function only for the emulator? :)

was it a prompt saying "don't run" as the option to close the window? if so hit the button that says more info or something like that, that should allow you to run it

if none of that helps go to your windows defender (type 'windows security' in the search bar for windows) click Virus and Threat Protection and go to protection history under the Current Threats area. There you should be able to see blocked files by windows and you can allow the file from there.

but if it does happen to go to the blocked files area, i recommend double checking where you downloaded the shadps4 GitHub file from, because it really shouldn't go there.

They're not fake, however the performance really depends on your hardware. I'm running an i3 9100f and 3060 Ti which is far from an ideal system for Bloodborne, and as for the visuals, that also really depends on the area you're in. Hunter's Dream renders almost perfectly for example.

I don't know if this is sarcasm or not, But in case it isn't, the point of emulation is so you don't have to wait/pay for Bloodborn in this case. Sony may never release it to PC or Xbox and Switch. So no. You don't need to pay, but the variety of sources to download. pkg files is odd and not openly shared through these platforms.

If you mean the required firmware for Bloodborne saying 4.50, it really doesn't matter. I'm guessing you're running the original Bloodborne release so it says 2.70, I'm running the GOTY edition released later which is probably why it's different.
