Call with 44 in sb, if you don't flop a set, you can never go broke, as if you flop a set, then you were almost guaranteed to double up, especially against a 200bb deep stack, plus they want your bounty(and maybe the pride to ko a high stakes pro)

I would suggest to go to stakes between 5$-21$, only because the field is much bigger, just my opinion... You hook me up to play poker again with all this video Lex :) Keep it up !!!

One thing to note at small stakes when players like or bet something like 4-4.7bb is they are likely clicking the "POT" button. It's usually easy to play against these players as they will limp with medium-strength hands and raise pot with their nutted hands. It's also a spot where you can instantly note those players as not regulars as most people that play a lot will alter those buttons.

Thank you for these videos! I've learned a few new things to consider and been trying a new betting strategy, and so far it's working well. Took down a PLO8 tournament the other day with new betting strategy! "Don't be afraid to bet small with multiple people in the pot" is definitely something that is working well!

Not worth it real prizes are in top 5 . All these ladders are worth less than juicy bounty. All depends what is value of your opponent head and your opponents want it also so they will be wider in spots with juicy bounty but not all of them . U have to recognize players who is wide bounty hunter and who is not and to know it u have to pay attention and watch showdowns

It all depends on how many blinds you have, how big the bounty is, and where you are in the tournament. I can't give you a clear answer on that. I'll try to explain as well as I can through these videos.

I like the heads up total KO tourneys as they’re incredibly soft but have 1 common problem that often villains open or 3 bet shove ridiculous amounts like 90 bigs in the early stages. I can’t figure if I should widen or tighten my range. Surely these guys are highly exploitable but I don’t know how often it’s someone with a monster vs someone just going crazy early.

can you give some info in the next video on firing bullets in these low stakes tourneys - often after just 30 mins of play some players will have 5-10x starting stacks and so is it worth bothering firing a second bullet when you are so far behind. Also if there is a spot where say there are 3 all ins and you have a hand with say 25% to win a 4 way all in - should you gamble to be chip leader?

hey Lex...first I wanna say that great content you have here, its entertaining :)...this time I have a question as well and it comes for the pocket fours you had on minute 16.07. How can you fold there?...I understand that the raise game from a player from early position and its 4BB for you to call, but the raiser had more than 200BB (so he can just try to steal the blinds) and its easy for you to play after flop, if you dont hit a 4, you fold but if you do hit a set then its almost always that you gonna win a big pot...so for me that fold was little bit strange....do you always fold a pair in that position with that kind of raise size?

When you do learn with lex can you do them with the BBs instead of the amount of chips. It helps to see what you're doing with how many blinds since how many blinds you or your opponent has changes what you do in different spots

playability just isn't there because the board is always overcards, so you will get counterfeited more often, and on top of that when you make straights it's always the bottom end. So tons of reaons. It also blocks all the trash hands people can fold preflop. All the 2x, 3x 4x combinations of hands

I play a lot of bounty 5 Euro bounty tournaments and have to say the 44 fold missing the set made me laugh from familiarity - you have to tell yourself though someone most likely had a set over your set... or you've simply given yourself a chance at a better hand next hand by folding (that's my fav phrase). The question I'd like to ask though is: When you identify a super-loose aggressive player with a massive stack (calling shoves with like K3 off and sucking out a lot), what is the best way to beat them? Do you gamble stacks with the madman or take them piece by piece post flop? - I struggle to remain tolerant of all the blind steals etc...and then shoving a solid hand like AJ suited gets me in trouble a lot...either by a suck-out or their now disguised monster hand. So usually when i play low stake tournaments( ranging between 1.10$-5.50$), there are times that i go chip leader of the tournament several times, with a huge stack, make it in the money, but bust out without making it to the final table. How do you deal with running cold in tournaments? I often see pros multi tabling and sitting out on some and wonder if it's because of running cold. And to follow that how do you know when to sit back in. I'm good and have final tabled plenty but feel like Im losing chips in spots I feel like I should have it during "running cold" periods. I feel like I'm missing something

you still have to pay the ante/big blind if you sit out so there is no advantage even if you are running cold. Pros sometimes sit out by accident when they have too many decisions to make at once :)

I am a bit confused with calculating bounties in PKOs. So let's say we're playing a 100$ bounty builder on PokerStars (ignoring the rake part in the buyin) and that the 50$ goes to the regular PP, and 50$ goes into the bounty PP - on top of each player's head (?) Why then on the table, the number next to the avatar of all the players is not 50$, but 25$? Then, when we eliminate a player in the beginning of the tournament, we get 25$ directly into our account off the table, and 25$ adds to our bounty / head. But then our number at the table displays as 37.5$. Where did the other 12.5$ go? If we are then eliminated from the tournament - did we cash out for 25$ in that tournament? I have a feeling that a quarter of the buyin (half of the bounty portion) is "lost" somewhere, or is just the display of the on-table bounties confusing? Mostly what I am confused is what number should I be using for calculating pot odds when deciding on calling an allin - the exact number next to the opponent's avatar, or half of that amount, or double of that amount???

It's not a huge mistake if you do play it. You can get charts that tell you which hands to play from each position but you might have to buy them. They would tell you that 33 is a fold from UTG but it's relativley close.

Always fold yeah. They have no playability and you block auto folds from the rest of the table

I like whole learning concept and video but i think these fours would be a fold to such raise normally but another guy who entered pot makes pot bigger and juicier when we hit our 4 so i dont like a fold for that reason. Even though ideally we would like to have at least 40 Bigs but rules are for breaking it. And no im not saying it bcs u would ,ve hit 4 on flop.

those 4.7bb and 4.6bb raises all from people who dont wanna think and just click 'bet pot'. i saw these many times when i play on my phone either on club gg or pokerbros. people dont wanna think and raise 2.5x or so and just click the pot. so dont put to much thought behind those raises. its just lazy opponents

Yeah im not sponsored but im still able to make profit. Tournaments are just so high variance that its tough to win 1000+ ppl tournament . U can run cold for 5k tournaments and being break even at best in that period, but if u playing with solid strategy(better than most of your opponents) , not tilting bcs of your bad luck or sth and try to play your A game most of the time the running cold will turn into running hot at some point.
