I always wanted to play M Bison in SF5 because I thought he was cool but I was afraid to because he's a charge character.

Just to correct some small points where you misspoke (you obviously know this stuff, no shade at all) Charge is 2/3 of 1 second, not 2 seconds. It’s 40-45 frames in sf6. Second, charging does nothing to stop spamming of the buttons. It’s purely to stop you from advancing. The animation or 1 projectile limitation more than covers the charge time for every single charge move in sf6. Also jab into jackknife on dj isn’t a good habit to just throw out, if they’re hit ducking it whiffs. Go into sobat unless you have the read.
@MisterAcolyte9 ай бұрын
No offense, but you're not helping anyone with this post. This is a text book example of over explaining. Someone new to street fighter, or fighting games in general, doesn't need to know how many frames a charge is. This is completely unimportant information for a beginner that complicates a simple idea. People come to charge characters already believing they are difficult, and throwing numbers at them only exacerbates this issue, hence the reason I say "about 2 seconds". This is simple, easy to understand, metric that will get the point across to anyone regardless of skill level. Also, again, this is not a Dee Jay tutorial, this a charge tutorial. The idea is to show an example of how to go from a crouching button, to an upward charge move. The person watching this video is not here to learn Dee Jay optimals. When it comes to teaching, you should always start with the basics. More comprehensive information comes later, otherwise you're simply overcomplicating the original goal.

They fucking ruin charged charcaters now honda can do his headbutt shit nonstop with super armor in a game that blocking is not fast but guile cant charge flash kick of all movés like before
@MisterAcolyte9 ай бұрын
actually charge characters are still pretty much the same as they've always been!. Honda's armor headbutt is very unsafe on block. Guile is overall much much stronger than Honda in SF6! Honda can be challenging for beginners, but once you know his counter play, he's much less effective! Guile on the other hand, is guile lol
