When my grandad was alive he built violins. Back then I wasn't interested in learning to play but now 18 years after his death I'm interested 😊

I’m about to be starting learning to play violin. It’s been a dream of mine to learn my whole life I’m simply in love with the music of a violin they make the most beautiful music in the world. This is one of the first songs I’ll be learning. I can’t read music but I learned guitar by ear and watching others and I’m going to do the same with this. I’m more than excited to get started and I’ll definitely be referring to your tutorial to help learn this beautiful song.

This moment, right now, watching your video, learning this song, and having a violin to play it, is one of the best moments of my life so far in 27 years. There is a much larger story as to why this specific song and why it means so much that I get to play it but I digress. Thank you so much for making this a possibility for me.

I am a brand new student and I reeeaaalllyyy appreciate how descriptive your tutoring is! I have a fairly cheap violin and wondered if you have recommendations on which company makes the best affordable violins... Thank you! 🎻 🎵
@farrukhahmed34795 жыл бұрын
Kellina Van Gaalen I use Whilite Strings, they give you affordable violins and you can rent or buy. I found a fairly cheap violin and it sounds magnificent only about 1,000 dollars which is pretty cheap for a violin. It’s sounds really authentic and old timey. Sorry for the late reply you’ve probably found a great violin company already 😬😃 Have an amazing day !

Question.. im a beginner. When I play together with you it sounds as if im playing a completely different note. But when I play this song on my violin is does sound right. Could it be that my violin isn't tuned correctly? or is that due to the fact that im listening to you on a PC.. or because not every violin sounds the same.. im always wondering this because my violin was tuned right i thought. But it still sounds different. I don't have a teacher anymore so i have to ask the internet haha, thanks guys
