Do you use Yaw or Roll as the default steering axis? I used Yaw in DS4windows and that feels way more natural than Roll which is the default in rewasd.

Using the triggers on the Dualsense Edge has less of a problem with jitter since it has trigger stops. Something about the shape of the Dualsense (or Dualshock 4) and the trigger tension causes a lot of jitter when pulling the triggers for some reason. Using a modded xbox controller I've noticed this issue isn't as severe.

it has been 1 week since I took your config from reWASD, and i made some modifications to make more confortable for me. The best one so far was swapping "d-pad up, shift" with "left bumper, aim", like, only 2 weapons have scope anyway, so why claw grip with the left hand the entire game lol, it CAN be damaging to play like that for a long time (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome), so you probably should minimize that. Anyway, thanks for the config, and for the video. CS is so much fun now, i was a console player my entire life, so it never felt natural playing on M and K.

If you want to rank up as a solo you should start watching your own demos and really think about how you play, practice movement, aim, ch placement and gamesense every day before you hop on your first game.. Took me about 6 months to really become confident in my gameplay and trust my skills. Also learn util in your main maps and play them til you know them better than the back of your hand. It aint easy but if you put in the work you'll get there 😅 also if you have an ego and focus on your teammates and not yourself you wont improve.. Just a "couple" of things xD

could be, you’d probably need to find a spot for a mute gyro bind. since you can only move x axis with flick stick, you’d need some way to adjust your gyros y position.

all of this is possible through steam. idk how easy it is to setup walk on joystick without in game settings now. i personally don’t like the setup as it can hurt you in a bunch of places.

add -nojoy in the launch options. it stops the game from detecting your controller but steam input works. disable controller in steam but enable it for csgo only. that’s the only way i can get the binds to not reset.

This is really impressive, have you tried surfing with your controller setup by any chance? When I surf, I run out of my mousemat a lot as a lot of maps rely on a lot of turns, I imagine with a joystick this wouldn't be much of an issue.

i have a surf mesa run uploaded in my shorts, while it’s just a tier 1 map you can see it’s possible. the stick is definitely useful as it’s essentially used as a turn bind.

An analog stick wouldn't work well for surfing or any kind of source or Quake cell movement simply due to how the machine reads the input from an analog stick versus a mouse. An analog stick doesn't allow for nearly as much subtlety we're fine adjustments of your turning control as a mouse will. Analog sticks have preset speeds bad on how far you push them where as a mouse moves 1:1 with your hand speed. It's called stop being a low sense noob. Your arm should never move with aiming with a mouse.

i would say probably not,as you have even less friction than a mouse would. not sure exactly how your tremor effects you but if you have a ps5/4 controller laying around it’s always free to try through steam input!

i cannot figure out the right stick, i dont have the ability to use gyro, and the right stick is all janky, looking up and down is faster than looking left or right (even when i change the sens in the app) and it looks that skips, is there any fix or it is what it is?

you may have steam layout and rewasd conflicting. also the acceleration for everything looks “skippy/choppy” which i think is just a cs2 issue that will be fixed, but it shouldn’t be that bad if your curve is correct

You can actually mod your PS5 controller to use mouse-like buttons for the triggers, which gives you a lot less jitter with shooting. I've been using a modded PS4 controller for Titanfall 2 and Deep Rock Galactic for around half a year now and it works very well, though I will say that modding a PS5 controller's triggers can be frustrating as you do need to disconnect the rumble tech inside in order for it to work properly (which can mean cutting the wire that connects it to the motherboard). If you don't wanna mess with anything like that, then I understand.

acceleration helps if you aren’t relying on your stick as much, it keeps the controller in a neutral position when making big flicks.

why not jump with the left stick? save ur finger from leaving the trigger every time you jump. it might be a challenge getting used to the movement.

i wanted to bhop as close to mnk as possible. how i have set up the touchpad is very similar to jump on scroll wheel. you could use left side, but air strafing and scrolling on the touchpad with one hand is awkward.
