I use the left and right axis of the right joystick as my rudder and it works to steer the plane

@@deadalkabob you have to set up in steam and then open dcs from steam not your normal dcs shortcut so you need to create a game shortcut in steam

@@ujvalsai3056 you have to select bind, and press both triggers .Thats how I got it to assign to rudder control .

Never had that problem before. When you assign it press left and right bumpers once at a time quickly, it's how I set them

I was just using a standard Xbox controller however now I've got a flydigi Vader 3 pro which you can get off Ali express for £30 and it's an excellent wireless controller plus it has some extra buttons which helps

B​@@the15minutegamer just let you guys know the steam controller settings are the same but DCS has updated the names for some of these controls so it can get confusing from the brilliant video Tony made, maybe if Tony has time maybe he might do a update video when he gets hes WW2 Aircraft Spitfire 😜🇬🇧🇬🇧 ready we will have a More updated version for 2024, don't know why some of the names have changed 👍

@@Tsuno9 make sure you enable the controller in steam (big picture mode) and run the game from steam. As when you do right stick you sholld be able to use as a mouse even in windows

Hey don't get me wrong there are some videos out there of people taking the time to make them so I appreciate that. But as far as I can search, there are no super clear videos of how to do certain bindings for a Xbox X/S controller or PS5 controller exclusively. Nothing else besides that.
