I think CDM is the most under rated position on the pitch. I'm always looking for the best way to get the job of CDM across to my players. this video is excellent and the point of turning the play out by running towards the ball is spot on. I tell mine to always stay behind the ball,running towards the ball,facing forewards,turn out and always be available. Cheers.

Subscribed Great explanation in summary 1.- Possession Get your team out of trouble, distribution with 1 or 2 touches, and protect the ball, the ball has to go in to out and out to in again out 2.- Defensive Get a good position, anticipate passes, win the ball. 3,. One ton soup A sprinting attacker is going at speed in order to get the defense back on their heels. Stay on your toes and get low, find an athletic center of gravity. Don't stab or lunge for the ball, but try to make the attacker mess up. Contain them, slow them down, cause them to make a mistake. Win the tackle if you need to, in case the attacker doesn't just give it to you.

even if its one or two touch, you can impress the coaches, that one and two touches could be very crucial, focus on the team and your role in the team, dont focus on how to impress
