When I got my hands on this awesome Classic Creep from Pure Salem Guitars, I made an Instagram Reel asking what E-standard Black Sabbath track I should cover with it.
To my surprise, several people asked for "Dirty Women". Being one of my favorites off Technical Ecstasy, and a bit of a deeper cut, I thought it would be fun to give it a go, but as I got into it, I realized I had to do it like Sabbath did it for the past couple decades -- in C# (or C on the The End Tour).
So here it is, Dirty Women in C# Standard, as the band has played it live since the 90's.
This one starts off in the key of F#-Minor (A-Minor position in Std tuning) and modulates to B-Minor (D-Minor position in Std tuning).

Dirty Women is definitely my favorite off those last two original lineup albums. The riffs are crushing, and the turn-arounds/transitions between sections are such great examples of Iommi's build up and release of tension.

Nice one! Didn't know this was c# in the Reunion. Watched that a bunch of times on the DVD when it came out and happily played it in E std myself. Hi, Steve. Was relearning the song yesterday, the intro riff is one of the first I learned 10 years ago when starting out with guitar. I knew about this video, still decided to search for some more takes on this song, it's kinda sad what searching engine does to this channel, I was expecting your vid to pop in top 3 results at least, didn't see it at all. Just want to make a suggestion for future titles, maybe "+ tabs on patreon" or "How to play Dirty Women, detailed breakdown" or smth like that will definitely grow views, because it's pretty popular song to learn. Anyway, thanks for detailed playthrough.

Bro 10/10 on every level, your playing the gear, you really get this tune and the whole headspace, Tony would be proud, my five cents, my fav version of this tune is the 1978 final tour with Ozzy kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHalnGaZr7-LorM , three things, 1, His Wah Wah pedal/tone/playing is out of this world ( he's one of the finest Wah players that's every lived full stop, uses it like a paint brush ), 2, the outro solo is like Jazz in its relentless improvisational creativity and intensity, and finally 3. although you've nailed the notes and your playing is dead on, have you noticed how Tony's fingers almost look like a interwoven spider web style when he's playing that cleanish descending arpeggio riff ( that open position Dm looking thing ), its actually quite mesmerising to watch ?, keep up the good work I could watch you for hours, your a great player and understand this music
