How to Play Djembe in Worship Music

In this video, I show how I would play this track on the Djembe. Djembe is a beautiful instrument from West Africa. I thought it would be it's pretty cool to show you guys how I would play this style, It's sort of like an "Alternative Soft Rock" type of vibe. But I really liked this track and I think you guys will enjoy it as well! I hope you do!!!

that little fill from 1:34-1:36 is really nice. I practiced along with you a few times to get the feel for it. Love this, thank you for making it! It would be really cool to hear you talk about your experience with how djembe should be placed in a worship service. With drummers "less is more" and there is a sort of an etiquette with when to play and when not to play for certain sorts of worship songs. I am about to use the djembe in a church setting for acoustic worship regularly and I'm looking to hear someone share their experience of things they recommend and tips they have to share regarding djembe in worship. Very nicely done. I've been a church percussionist for many years (a Remo djembe is part of my gear) and I like seeing how others go about doing the same sort of thing I do. That LP djembe would sound great in a church.
