2:43 staccato works better imo since on the original studio recording, and even live, Jonathan Cain plays this part on a synthesizer of some kind

Great videos! I'm wondering if you have a request line? I'd like to see good tutorial in the correct key for, "The Way We Were" by Barbra Streisand (Marvin Hamlisch). Another is "Living Inside Myself" by Gino Vanelli. Not sure if they're up your alley. Thanks.

Just watched your string arranging video with Rick Beato which is how i found your channel. Would be great to have a Drops of Jupiter piano tutorial.

On KZbin Philippines today a talented local recreated this exact video and if you were just listening to the audio you couldn’t tell the difference.

Could you do something more modern next, like One Direction, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran,... I feel like you would also get a lot more views that way.

Look at my earlier videos....I had the same thought as you, but videos covering "classic" songs FAR outperform newer music. It mystified me at first, but then I realized that those who listen to what's current, are the least likely to want to learn the piano online. The data has shown that the overwhelming majority of people who are interested in learning music online are between the millennial and boomer generations. In my own private teaching practice, I teach the really current stuff to young kids, and they're so disinterested it's not even funny!

Wow, if thats true than this just shows how young people aren't interested anymore in learning an instrument...quit sad...now i understand why you are rather teaching the classics! I'm 17 years old and would rather enjoy newer songs but I also wouldn't say no to another good Beatles tutorial. Thanks for the explanation now i can understand your view!

Nah dude, just focus on good songs, regardless of era.

This is true… the songs are more interesting and have endured the test of time.

Better don't put any devices with transformers (like this lovely DX7) directly on top of your precious Rhodes, as it's pickups can get demagnetised over time by wall power transformer stray fields.

dissappointed I couldn’t covert the sheet music to pdf with my musicnotes pro account…
@pierrejpiscitelli2 ай бұрын
Sure you can. When you hit print, there is a PDF button in the PRINT dialog box on a Mac. It’s easy to miss, and typically in the lower left hand corner. They want to make you pay for pdfs, but it’s not necessary at all.

@@GarySixSixty Try on a desktop. When you hit the print button and the dialog box comes up, there will be a PDF export button. This is the case on both Mac and PC.
