Cam, thanks for this lesson and thanks for your humility regarding how long it took you to get this down. I have felt discouraged by the struggle but knowing that someone who plays as well as you had to put in the hours to get this style down, well, that helps. Also, let's hear for it technology. Even though I'm a fiddle player, I appreciate what you share. There is ALWAYS something to learn. One thing I thought, when you said you woke up and it was 'there' and you could play it. Part of it muscle memory, but part of it - maybe - is the melody/drone... whatever you wanna call it... ;-)... floating around in your head. You can't play it if you can't sing it. So the combo of muscle memory and the 'sound/melody' itself... is the Cosmic Combo... thanks for making the time to share. :) Always enjoyable!!!
