I had to learn a bass solo over 11/8 and it's such a groovy time sig I quickly felt it instead of counting. Gr8 groovy rhythms. Awesome work dude!

Josh I love how are really break everything down like showing diffrent methods not just learning beats. Another great example of a song in 11 is Virgil Donati song called Eleven check out very interesting. Us advanced drummers are loving your lessons.

The syncopated examples are so nice. Can I do them? Not a chance in this solar system. The fills you do within these examples are soooo tasty. Even if I never can do these examples, I love the way they sound.

Keeping in with the 11/8 time signature is straightforward enough when playing just the basic beats in your examples, but how do you keep locked into it during the 'stretching it a bit' sections where you start throwing variations and fills in all over the place?
