How to play each Star Wars class of ship in Project Stardust! [Updated]

Little note about support: they're best used as escort for bigger ships such as capitals or heavy cruisers as supports are really really good at destroying missiles and enemy spacecrafts. Even the most basic support ship (Lancer-class frigate) gives a good anti-spacecraft protection with 12 Point Defenses for teamates.

A note for the Nova ship line and Carriers: The Nova and Hapan are from the same faction in Star Wars - their most noteable trait imo is not their high damage potential but that they have a lot of anti shield ion cannons which can just delete shields for your teammates. Use them with a partner to shield strip Carriers: you want to use your fighters for specific tasks beyond just attacking: Basic fighters like the TIE fighter, Xwing and E-wing are to be used to defend yourself or attack a really close opponent as a last resort - use the guard option with them Interceptors like the TIE interceptor and a-wing should be used to guard yourself - you can also use them with the intercept all option to help defend your teammates since their good for killing other fighters Bombers are what you should attack with - the y-wing, k-wing and TIE bomber are built to destroy enemy capital ships This also applies to other factions - if you’re unsure what a fighter does, look at the amount and how they react to other ships: - you usually get the most amount of basic fighters - they will die kinda fast to point defense but not to a aggressive degree - you usually get the least interceptors- point defense eats them from lunch. They also deal barely any damage to capital ships - you typically get less bombers than basic fighters but more than interceptors. They deal a lot of damage to capital ships and will take a while to kill

@@Mizuna水蛇3294 Pursue Hostile makes your fighters attack that persons fighters and ONLY that persons fighters - they basically hunt them down Scramble is used to launch all your fighters at once (normally thee game launches them a squad at a time) and also can be used to emergency launch fighters that are respawning (though they'll have leses health). Most scrambled fighters deal less damage than when normally launched - however somee dont or do more, like IIRC CIS droid fighters

Iza me, another person who makes Stardust videos. Very nice video you have here, I did enjoy it. Although the game is quite a grind, making videos on the game can gather quite a few views, plus it can be very fun starting off. I recommend you should make more videos on the game. And who knows...maybe we could do a future collaboration on the game, as I'm always keen to play with other Yt'bers who play Stardust :)

For people who are playing UNSC ships Battleships and Destroyers are going to be your frontline Damage Dealers, Battleships are extremely tanky and have a ton of weapons that deal massive damage, Destroyers act as Flankers for the most part however some can brawl bigger class of ships. For the most part you'll be relying on your MAC guns to deal damage to enemy ships and their shields so your teammates can take advantage of the enemies vulnerability

Also the Paris tier 2 heavy frigate is good for completing non class specific challenges, and grinding free xp. DPS will vary based on ship class but it's usually significantly higher than another factions same tier equivalent

What about carriers? I haven't gotten that far through the carrier line, but the UNSC carriers seems to have a good amount of guns and other offensive capabilities rather than relying on bombers and fighters

@@yeetusmaximus8546 Carriers are alright at best. Sure there's a few hidden gems here and there but you'll mainly just want to use the Star Wars Carriers. Star wars gets the best Capital Ships and Battle-Carriers.

Apologies for the late response, been getting hammered with work and school. I'm not 100% sure what the "Endurance" carrier is but in short, carriers should never be front line, even if you're a battle carrier. Be mid to back line, using your fighters while also putting down some firepower. If you have guns, use them. Your job is the pump out as much damage as possible causing havoc on the battlefield with your multitude of armaments.

I find it ironic how you're talking about targetting ships without PD as a carrier and yet in the gameplay you ignore a UNSC ship, which are notorious for having terrible anti ship PD

In star wars is a little diferent between ships, some are fast and fragile but armed to the teeth, others are more like Missiles cruiser or siege weapons like the tyrant and onager, heavy cruisers are more about the damage they can do.
