Lovely presentation, this sounds very nice when played on the guitar. Annie Lennox, when asked what song was her favorite from The Eurythmics, said this is because the meaning for her changes when she hears it. I was just out of high school when this song was released and have always liked it and many more of their songs, not to mention her solo songs.

That voicing of Am add9 sounds right only on guitar. It's too "broad" to sound right on piano or keyboard. Plus, it's "raked" on guitar. I'm sure that can be done on keyboards, but it "shimmers" more on guitar due to the combination of open strings and fretted notes. (Cool song, huh?)

The opening chord can be played 5, 7, 7, 5, 0, 0. Use your middle finger to play the low E string at the fifth fret and your index finger to play the 3rd string at the 5th fret. This is how I have seen Dave play it.

Very nice. But "F me like C do." cracks me up. Remember the Sea-Doo or is it " she do" ? LOL
