I’m a full time house audio engineer at the nicest and classiest casino in our area. I mix and hear that song being covered at least five times a week. And holy shit man that had to best smoothest beautifully tasteful version I’ve heard. Really nice job. Also I clicked like and subscribed without hearing any other tracks. Excellent

This is Awesome to hear! Just hang in there and, if you can, dedicate at least 15 minutes a day to practice. You will see growth. Whenever I have things that I struggle with, I dedicate daily practice time to it and I always tell myself, just imagine where you'll be this time next year. To your surprise, it won't take as long as you think it will to get a grasp on those things that you're struggling with. And those things that you think or tell yourself you'll never be able to do, the truth is, You Can! Just commit to spending time daily working on those things. God bless you as well my friend!

Mack, I am always checking out Purple Rain as it's played with the Chords that Wendy Melvin and the other guitarist played this tune when I first heard it played on the movie Purple Rain , (That Soundtrack) with Prince on guitar and vocals !!! (RIP). I got my guitar out and I had no TAB or other form of music notation, only the movie soundtrack. I played this tune in the Key of Asus (X02200), F# ? (242200), E (022100), D? (X57700). I know my chords did not match that of Wendy's chord finger fretting diagrams but it sounded the same. I rewound and rewound the VHS tape I had of the movie trying to see Wendy's hands and figure out the Key and chords notes diagrams that she was playing, though they sounded the same to me, we did not match one another. It was within another 3 years that I finally got the correcting Tuning and Music Notation to the Purple Rain tune. Nobody had a clue how to play this tune where I lived, and I sure did not have the music gear to splice a soundtrack together to play this tune along with and get all the tonal embellishments and lead & lead Solo notes played. Woo Man, if you can not sing this tune Tribute, then Naw, do not even Try to Fake your way through this tune. I could sing and play the tune but No one else who played came close, so I just played the tune outside gigs or I played it on Mic Nights locally. Wendy's Chords, the other female guitarist ?, and Prince (Genius Amazing) !!! "Mack, I Thank You, Your Musicology, for You Sir done Prince GR8T & PROUD in this music video tutorial that you played here" !!! Play On FretBro . . . 🆒👍🤘🎸🙂🎼🇺🇸🙏 DDH 10-2-2023.

Little Red Corvette wax a hit video when I was 13. I've been a fan of Prince since. I always thought he was an amazing musician. Having picked up guitar again in the past couple of years I've gained a new respect for him as a guitarist and would rank him in my top 3 all-time. I'd also like to say I appreciated your acoustic version. Definitely one of the best I've heard. And I like the finish on your Taylor. It looks really sharp and modern. 👏👏👏

Nice job, one of my favourites to play on acoustic 😊 need to try some of those ideas in my own playing of it. With the last chord D , it's a bit of stretch but sounds great I do A - 6th fret, D-8th fret, G-10th fret, B- 8th fret & e - 6th fret.
@django13 жыл бұрын
The Chords are taken directly from a Journey song ,"Faithfully". Prince called Jonathan Cain for his blessing before releasing Purple Rain. There are many other similarities as well. Great great song.
