You're wrong, Tulok. If I said we were "building Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine, two cowboys on the Bebop" my grandparents would have assumed I was trying to introduce them to new jazz musicians and roasted me for misusing their generations' slang.

My table is starting a new campaign next month, after our last one wrapped a couple months back. One of my players told me directly that his new character is inspired, in personality if not in mechanics, by Spike. So, I spent all month watching Cowboy Bebop for the very first time, and what should show up right after I finish but this video? Hell of a sendoff, this... also, the Netflix series wasn't given a fair shake. And once again- if you have a DM that won't let your character have cool stuff or even defy the conventions of genre, remind them of that movie they released in 2012 where the unfrozen WW2 Super Soldier, the techno-espionage vigilante, the Space Viking with the magic hammer, the radioactive ogre and a couple of spies team up to save the world from the Space Viking's tricksy kid-brother and his hired goons from a distant star that might as well have come out of an Edgar Rice Burroughs novel. And then find a new DM.

Oh sweet, two different takes on a Hong Kong action movie gun kata build. Well, kind of, because in HK action flicks that character dies 100% of the time. And just another note, drunken master is my favourite monk class by far. Its damage never gets exceptional but its mobility is absolutely nuts. I can't get enough of it. Finally, your rebellion against those who incorrectly corrected you on riposte - which you already pronounced correctly in the first place - is glorious. Please keep doing that.

I'm going to just ignore all the possibly hate replies because I don't watch a lot of anime.... including the ones who Be and Bop. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Tulok. I thought 2020 had a touch 1-build-a-day December and then you LITERALLY FOUND A WAY TO DOUBLE THAT CHALLENGE (that no one was challenging you with) and did it in such a great way. Now groups, pairings, and etc are even MORE fleshed out and guided into existence. I have taken a few a way from this month and am excited for what you do in the future. Your tireless hard work does NOT go unnoticed! Even tho I'm a patreon I wanted to say all this here because I also want to say that if you've built at least ONE character thanks to these videos PLEASE go toss a coin to this witcher, because, seriously, he does a great job creating these in entertaining ways and even helps give you some reflavor options to spark the imagination for playing them. And if you REALLY can't afford to give a few bucks to a guy who just put in hours of work so you can go play a fantasy make-believe board game........... then at least contribute to the youtube algorithm, put a ton of his videos on play (mute if you need to) and give him some silly comments of encouragement. Seriously, all of that is actually free for you but can either give him some passive help or direct, as he smiles when he sees your "lulz this looks fun" comment. It really isn't too much ask, be a good human being (with your dumb human eyes.... Tulok joke for no darkvision ;) )
