Just finished the FC Vaduz Challenge in FM24. It took me 12 seasons to win the Champions League, so victorious in 2034-2035 season ! Got Bayern Munich in the Final. Took the lead at the 20th min. Game stayed 1-0 until 90+6 where they scored to make it 1-1. Scoreless overtime. Won it 6-5 in the penalties. Finished 9th in the Champions League table, had to go through the knockout playoff round. The last 5 opponents were Knockout Playoff Roma, 1/8 Barcelona, 1/4 Liverpool, semis RB Leipzig and Bayern in the final. 🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮

I have been playing this exact save on my channel. It's painful, I made quarter finals 3 times in champions league so far and in 2031 Still the tiny 7K stadium Zero money except my own sales Losing all my best wonderkids every year due to release clause or just because someone offers 20 million and the board takes over and cannot refuse it Plus the hell of never actually winning the utterly pointless swiss league even though you come 1st seven times in a row 😂😢 It's time consuming only being in the champions league every 2 seasons You need to be patient and enjoy the struggle and probably get some luck It's the lack of financial growth and reputation that really annoys me

@@KentHammerFM I got poached as well real hard every summer, every winter. The 3x replacement max per winter for registration is harsh as I was losing sometimes 5+ players at Xmas. 8 homegrown, 4 trained at club is a big part of the challenge as Liechsteintein is the 2nd worst nation at game start only behind San Marino. Started overpaying by 100-200k a year every player in order to set their release clauses 5M higher than what they were asking. I used the youth to rich strategy, buying players for 1-5M and selling them 15-25M after only 1 year most of the time. In 2035, I still have the 7000k initial stadium. Never was able to get it extended. The UE Conference League provides 0 reputation... The Swiss Super League is only a developmental league because I think I "won" it 10 out of 12 years (started in Challenge League year 1 and I think year 3 I fucked up on last day lost by a single point). P2 still is declared Champion of Switzerland due to regulation so Liechsteintein Cup (of course 12 wins in a row) and UE Conference League (won it twice in 2031 & 2033, reached final in 2029) are your best chances of trophy until team is ready for the final push. Liechsteintein Cup is where I played my backup GB, 3rd string striker and my 1 star club trained & homegrown players and try to make them 1.5 stars 😂

@@dannnick2345 Yeah, it is really weird that you play in a league that you can’t win, at this point Lichtenstein should do everything to found a few more clubs so they can have a proper league, that would give them way more of a chance in European competitions with 3 spots instead of one. Or just join the Swiss league fully but that would mean the death of the Lichtenstein FA in general and their NT probably so they clearly don’t want that. I guess they just want to give us an FM challenge:)) If you attempt the San Marino challenge you should do it on FM24 so you can manage the NT as well and win them a title, that s the only way you can beat this. Hopefully FM 25 will actually come out without major bugs but I ve lost faith at this point ngl

Just a quick tip to everyone. You don't necessarily need to start in England just because you want to manage in Prem for example. The games timings is based on regular seasons, but alot of countries have different timings. Just choose Sweden for example, the 24' Season and start the game in April -24 or something, and you just have to finnish off the season. It doesn't fix the problem, but atleast I prefer to start in April 2024 rather than July 2023 for example. If you want you can restart the start date to match your "story", so that your team you want to take over have a bud run and you can sack the manager and take his place with a fitting narrative!

@@CamelNotation222 at least they do give free updates for years I guess but yeah, the DLC features are sometimes essential and there are so many of them, I bet it scares away so many new players. Then again, Paradox must have a team of accountants and psychologists telling them people will buy anyway as there is no real competition to their games (maybe Civ but that a competitor to Stellaris and that s it if anything as it doesn’t have a real map or follow real history), Paradox has grown a lot as a company in the past few years. However, there is one game that doesn’t suffer from that. Hearts of Iron 3, the one before the current one only had 3 DLCs during it s whole lifetime (Semper Fi, For The Motherland and Their Finest Hour) but they are essential ones. That s the game that got me into Paradox, even if they never fully fixed it (Japan will always defeat China easily and get their coast as a bandaid, they kept trying to solve it in different versions but never could, idk what the HOI4 balance is, the AI doesn’t know how to create an optimal fleet so it will just sortie what it is given and build more suboptimal fleets as it goes, Germany sometimes fails to defeat Norway in time and burns it s whole manpower there, the North Africa theatre being just two divisions on either side chasing each other…) so it has a special place in my heart. In some ways it is even an improvement on HOI4 imo as it has every shade of ideology represented by a historical party with a full on cabinet that you can hire and fire at will (no Political Power as currency or Focus Trees), no “planning bonus” so you don’t have to hand over control of your military to the AI (but you can still do it, just like every other facet of the game) etc. but in others HOI4 is massively superior (designing versions of tanks/aircraft and the associated loss of efficiency by producing a new type of tank, more options in division designer, manpower being actual people influenced by conscription laws rather than some abstract value etc). Anyway, I guess I am just rambling now, just felt like propagandising for the one Paradox game that doesn’t have too many DLCs I suppose

That's what I'll do if I start a new game (I still playing my original save in March of 2028). This is brilliant! Why would anyone buy FM25 that late? Even if FM25 came with a nice UI and good graphics It's not only "too late" but also missing features and probably buggy as well. I will and strongly recommend everyone wait for FM26 while enjoying FM24 with mods. I truly believe that FM26 will be what FM25 should've been. Less bugs, better optimised and a few more features.

If only they actually updated more individual traits of players. Vincius has about 13 consistency and 13 important games for about 3 games now. Thats just crazy for him being one of the best. FM is really mostly directed towards the PL and even so, HOW does Palmer have 13 passing lol. Dude is clearly one of the best in the world and should easily sit on 16-17 passing.

Like either a player gets sucked or they're overrated with zero room for context nowadays the moment they underperform for a bit. Virtually all Brazilian players perform well for their clubs so the fact that none of them do for Brazil should tell you something that its clearly not necessarily to pin point on the players since Brazil has been horrible for multiple coaches, multiple selections of players and have been straight horrendous without Neymar. Mind you I also said it hasnt changed over 3 years, you know from the time that Vinicius missed everything and Benzema almost had a fight? Thats how long ago. Insinuating Vinicius from then and now are the exact same in consistency and important games is ludicrous. And it's not just Vinicius, I noticed its virtually ALL Spanish teams, Italian teams, German teams. Only the PL gets updated for years now in these regards and they still do it wrong like I said with someone like Palmer, or Foden who has 13 long shots who consistently scores long shots and De Bruyne who has 16 while he's know to score clutch long shots but misses far more and shoots way more straight to the fans than Foden would. Even the base stats are clearly wrong let alone these mental stats they simply don't adjust for other teams outside the PL. CARVAJAL the dude that virtually ALWAYS performs in big matches his entire career, has a big matches mental of 13. That's so extremely flawed for a game that's literally based on these intricate little stats.

Turn FM 24 in to FM 25 by downloading the transfer embargo for the first season for all clubs then holiday a year and now you are in FM 25 playing real world mode. (Liverpool rebuild after Klopp)

The thing with databases like this is that they're done by average Joe's, so not all players will have the ca and pa upgrades or downgrades as it is not possible for 2 of 3 people to do so, also the accuracy will be off. I honestly don't have an issue starting with the current 23-24 database, with real world transfers, start with a Sweden start date, April 24, you can then take over a team and try and change the real life fortunes.

You would think it would be November because that was when the game was originally meant to launch. I have also created a file which increases the number of transfers from window one.. Salah, vdv, de bruyne go to Saudi Liverpool go crazy in the transfer market as well to name a few transfers but this is for the top five leagues. But I'm not a creator lol.just did it for myself.

The problem with this, outside of the Premier League these updates are usually extremly lacking. On top of that it does not really account for player improvements. Player like Pavlovic who made huge step are not really accounted for. Moda are only good if you care about the Premier League only.

I have already downloaded FM25 database from another sauce. I was employed by Truro (Vanarama South). However, The kit has been changed this year and they moved to a new stadium. The only reason I don't like data updates is the autist in me goes reeeeee when I see the season start date is wrong. These data updates never adjust the game start dates which is particularly annoying on "Legends" databases with players like Beckenbauer, Beckham, and Bendtner in them. There doesn't seem to be a capability to start databases in 1867 if we want it to and that makes them LITERALLY unplayable.
