Awesome Marty. With you I finally found the fix to a situation i have. I have played guitar for many years and have recently volunteered my music to the old folks home here where i live. Then i realized oh oh, i dont know what to play for them and as a self taught player it takes me quite a while for me to learn songs but with all you've shared im right on track now to play and sing tunes for them and give them all big smiles and something for them to look forward to. +Elvis Wayne That's great my friend, I'm happy to help you out. Just make sure your band mates play it the same way. I often transpose chords to songs to fit my voice and often times others play the same tunes differently. Usually a capo is all that is needed to blend the 2, but just be sure before you hit the stage for a gig!! Good luck and keep rocking!!!

As the window in my vid says, the basic pattern for both are:G, C, D, Em- Run into C is 1 - open A (2nd) string, 2 - 2nd finger a string 2nd fret 3 - 3rd finger A string 3rd fretG to Em run is 1 - middle finger top string 3rd fret 2 - index finger top string 2nd fret 3 - Em chordI hope this helps. It's very hard for me to make out his chord changes too because he plays them too many different ways. Which makes him a good player . And makes it sound good and Everything.. But makes it hard for the mediocre student to follow along. 😕 He'd be a brilliant teacher otherwise.. .. Though he is still good. .
