Hi Nigel, I consider you & your channel one of the top goto channels for CBG song tutorials. It's not that one is better than another, it's a different style or technique that for a student is critical in learning different aspects of CBG playing. Thankyou for the time and effort to produce said videos. Take care, C.

Know why Keith Richards went open G? Backstage way back, Mick is listening to an opening act guitarist warm up and amazed at the sound. The guitarist is Ry Cooder. The story goes Mick encourages Keith to come listen. Keith is changed, composing and playing many of the Stones best hits in open G, even removing the 6th string from his guitars, being in the way of the root note on string 5. Ever wonder why many complain online Keith Richards is so hard to play (in standard tuning)? Yeah, that's why.
G'day mate, took me about an hour but I got it, awesome! Enjoying your videos, keep em comin!

Great good lesson for just making it up as you went along (so you say;-@)- It may not have anything to do with you posting it but I remember requesting this song. Again thanks for another great lesson, you've a way of breaking down songs for beginners to understand, only criticism is that it's very very hard to hear you talk, one has to really pay attention to where your fingers are. I think it's time for you to start planing your world tour.

What are the best strings, acoustic, classic (nylon), or electric? In the case of using magnetic pickup's, it will be better electrical I suppose ... but, the electrical strings are more difficult to press? Thank you very much!
