My uncle Jimmy loved this song. He was blasting it on the radio on the day he died back on July 8, 1984. He was listening to the song when he died in his car accident. He was my dad’s brother and it makes my dad sad whenever he hears this song because it reminds him of his brother and he misses him so much.

Just saw ZZ Top in concert last night in Dodge city ks. The place went WILD when they played legs so naturally, I had to come home and figure out how to play it. THANKS MIKE!

The blues riff that carries on right through Legs, as shown at around 3:30, you hear Eds Van Halen dig out a very similar little riff as a really nice opener to one of his solos on "Blues Breaker" on that Star Fleet thing he did with Brian May.

Great video! What I really want to find out which I don't seem to be able to find anywhere is... How is that pulsating sound one the rhythm guitar created? Is it a delay effect? Is each pulse strummed? The concert video shows only the bass and lead guitars are being played on stage. No explanation of who is playing the rhythm guitar and how it is getting that pulsing effect.

Ok, but you could’ve at least thrown in the verse part, chorus, maybe a few licks out of the gist of the solo. I learned it out of a book years ago, and forgot how to play only that B-A-G> A flat, and you covered that, so I’m cool.
