The cards you're using are confusing. The colors are wrong. Just use an ordinary deck.

There are a few contact Rummy games. Was this the first to use them? I am writing up some games and categorising them based on the first WELL KNOWN game using a particular mechanism. For example Comet seems to be the forerunner of the following games : Michigan, Boodle, Newmarket and Pope Joan I will keep the Pagat/McLeod classification but some people understand from naming a bunch of familiar games.
