thanks for sharing! I have a 4 string hollow body bass and a 5 string bass, I will give this a try on them lol. I think it should translate well over to the guitar, but it is likely played on an 8 string? either way, that's a great tip! I love your cover of this song, definitely a great song.

The technique itself is easily applied to all situations, but Combustion is played on a four string tuned to F 😄 The guitars use 8-strings but the bass doesn't tune any lower than normal

Thanks! This is an older Aria Pro II, or at least some parts of it 😂 The body and electronics are from a 1988 MIJ Aria Pro II but it has been repainted. The neck is a super cheap parts neck

I'd argue that it's 85% in the way I pick (although I tried really hard to pick in an iffecient way there) and the rest is my signal chain 😄 I'll need to make a picking technique video soon!
