In this simple guide we are going to install Minecraft and play it in VR. This is how it is done in 2024, using Vivecraft which is an awesome programme which doesn't require side-quest. No you can't. Just Java. But I think if you have a Microsoft account with bedrock you can upgrade it to java. I may be wrong.

Yessir! You can mod! But it's trial and error. The mod has to be the same version of the downgraded game, its got to be compatible some just aren't. And most importantly of all (or else it won't work) you've got to be subscribed to my channel 😉

for me everything works but when i try to make a new world and load it up i get stuck at 100% then minecraft crashes with error code 1 or -1

This is typically due to mod packs or mods or shaders. Ensure this is the original non modded game you're trying this with.

Okay seems like I can’t install forge with it. I hit install forge with Vivecraft. And I download it and it does not ask me to download forge with it. Is there a way to install forge separately? Also whenever I launch vivecraft it says “Game Crashed” “Exit Code 1”

When you're on the website did you make sure to download the right vivecraft? There are a lot to choose from and the correct one, the one I choose in the video asks if you want to add forge. I know you can download and use forge separately but I don't think you can with vivecraft I've never tried.

You should check if you have any out dated mods for the version your running and if that doesn't work you should see if any of you graphic cards need an update, the last one was the problem I was having for over a year. No one gave this as an option to try, anyways I hope this helps

@dragowolf0482 it shouldn't be run with mods at all. It needs to be installed vanilla and confirmed to be working before considering adding mods.

@@DeadPixelGaming I was talking about the error code 1 comes from having mods running on a version that doesn’t support the mods on the build. At least from my own experience with this error code alone. I would believe said person has all ready installed it the way you said too. That error code it self is a really annoying one, also I’m not trying to sound hate full I just suck at getting the feeling of text though so if I come off rude my bad.

And your pc is vr ready right? I don't know why you're having that issue. Watch the guide closely again and reinstall.

in steam vr when i launch from my pc it says "javaw up next" but nothing happens. When I launch it from steam vr home it says "vivecraft up next" but nothing happens. When i launch it from steam vr home and then my pc it loads it on my pc, and i can move around and see it from pc view, and my controllers will vibrate accordingly, but it will still get stuck on "vivecraft up next" on my headset. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure if you have bedrock you can log into Microsofts website and change it to both bedrock and java. I may be wrong. Either way try do that then follow this guide.

You need a computer with a graphics card. An integrated graphics card is an onboard (motherboard) chip used just to handle simple graphics.

Launch with steam vr running, and when you get to the main menu just click enable vr in the steam pcvr desktop thing, then you just press the menu button on the left controller
