In 1 v 1 you dont go mangudai. Theyre for raids. 3v3 4v4. They are bad at fighting. You use them for only raids.

@ - Well first off you picked the right game, Age of Empires is a classic and very popular RTS game that’s been around 20+ years! Age of Empires 4 is a great game with great graphics, gameplay and lots of fun! Welcome to the game! To answer your question, Mongols is a super fun civilization to play as long as you play aggressive. They do not have the ability to build walls to defend so the best defense is offense. The core of the mongols gameplay is playing super aggressive right from the start, getting villager kills when you can and denying resources to strangle your opponents economy. You never want to give your opponent time to feel comfortable or build up his army. You MUST constantly harass his base and villagers. I like to play aggressive so Mongols really fits my play style. When you start playing just try out different civs against the computer A.I. on easy or intermediate until you work your way up and get a feel for the game and strategies. Beasty has guides covering how to play every civ and their unique abilities. It’ll take time to figure out your timing, and how to balance your economy to be able to be successful. Practice, practice practice!!!! Any other questions feel free to ask! :)
