5ch3nk if ur a boss you can learn how to play it by watching the acoustic video they did live. It didn’t look too hard, some hammer ons and pull offs. Basic Neil Young shit
@UbiDoobyBanooby6 жыл бұрын
It's not too tough really. People have tutorials on KZbin. Though it would be nice to see if they're any different from how it's actually played.
@aatproductions51955 жыл бұрын
Back to basom roughly goes like this: First chord is 6,7,5 on the g, b, and high e string (play the a and d string open and hammer on the 7 fret on the high e string) then you move that up to the 4,5,3 frets respectively. After that it's just open a chord, open g, and f. For the bridge and chorus they switch to bar chords for those chords, but the progession is still "(g) and the snow so light is (f) bleeding/ (g) we sleep so tight when we're (f) breathing". There's a tab on ultimate guitar and probably weentablature, with that and the video of them in the park it's pretty easy to decipher and play.

@tostare2 жыл бұрын
I've been learning to play this on piano, playing along with the Chicago dvd and the chorus chords Mickey plays here sound totally different to what i'm playing ( i play G D C A), which is weird and very interesting! I need to try them now and see how they sound played along with the vid. My style of piano playing is based off copying the guitar chords and bass and singing over the top so i usually follow the guitar chords more than anything else.
@mandolinmountain2 жыл бұрын
I think it's because it is capoed on the first fret..or everything is tuned up a half tone (on the album).
@tostare2 жыл бұрын
@@mandolinmountain i figured it out. I'm not playing the proper chords for the chorus, i'm playing chords corresponding to what the bass is doing. The bass goes G, D, C, A and that's the chords i'm playing. They seem to fit pretty nicely when I play along, which is interesting, i guess there must be a lot of shared notes between my chords and the proper ones. Maybe Glenn is playing the same as me (the basic chords i mean). I always play along to concert videos rather than the albums because the pitch on the albums is all over the place. I'm going to try to learn the proper chords and multitrack them over what i have been doing and see what it sounds like.
