My very first song I learned on the guitar was A Horse With No Name by listening to your video which was great btw.After that I couldn't find a song I liked and wanted to learn until today when I came back to your channel and the first thing I saw was this and it's great. It took me forty years to realize Neil played this with the guitar tuned down a whole step. I remember the first time I listened to Rust Never Sleeps, in 1983 or so, and this song sent chills down my back. It's his masterpiece. I wanted to play it so badly. I learned knew how to play the electric version no problem - it's in standard tuning, but playing it that way on the acoustic doesn't work for me - it needs to be in G minor or the impact is lost. I figured Neil had a capo at the third fret, but from there I couldn't determine what he was doing. I eventually just gave up. I learned pretty much every Neil Young song other than this one. Then recently I learned that Tell Me Why, which I'd always played in standard tuning, in downtuned a whole step - then I put two and two together.
