this game should be more popular! the amount of 3D models they released for free to the public is amazing

So, just to be clear, a game typically ends in an epic table flip?

Great work regarding the game and nice video! I am a bit confused since the rules for the 5th edition I've just read seem a bit different from the video tutorial. Maybe I misread them or perhaps the video is a bit outdated. Either way modularity is a fascinating concept for such a game and I really love the essence of minimalism your rules, figures and terrain provide . I feel like it is structured in such a way that it will take a lot of sessions for it to even begin getting repetitive and that could easily be fixed with some homebrew tiles and units or maybe an expansion module.Thank you for your time !

Can't wait to try this out. Printing my core set now to bring to my buddy's this weekend. I have a feeling that this game is going to be deceptively deep.

I really like this little game! I have one qualm though about the water, granted this is entirely speculation as I haven't yet gotten to play any of this, but it would seem like a 50% chance to just lose a unit to a water tile is a bit aggressive? I was thinking before you said 1 through 3 is defeat, that a 1 or a 2 would mean defeat. Idk if it makes that big of a difference in the grand scheme of things with all factors tied in such as quantity of water tiles, layout, total troop amount, special abilities, movement rules, etc etc... but yeah. Just sorta wondering if you've had to revisit or were thinking of revisiting the 50% drowning chance to water tiles haha. All that aside, I really like what you've done here. This game is what, 7 years old now since the first iteration? I'm sure you've had plenty of time to flesh out the rules lol. Thanks for being awesome, and great job on the game! After reading up on abilities and stuff, Elves are my favorite :)

Could i ask you a quick question that wasn't totally clear to me. If i attack with 3 dice, and my opponent defends with 2, is the battle always won by the attacker? The third dice would always go 'unmatched', no? An example Attack throws 5,2,1 Defense throws 6,4 If i understand correctly that would mean the 5 is defended by the 6. The 2 defended by the 4, but the 1 goes trough unmatched, so the defender is defeated. or am i understanding this wrong?

Yeah, my son and I had this same issue. For the 2020 (5th?) edition it looks like rules as written show that if you have more OFF dice than opponents DEF dice you're guaranteed to win.

Man may I say congrats. I have been enjoying this game and pocket dungeon and my only question is when you guys are going to kickstart a physical version? So much potential and so much fun yet constrained to those who have 3D printing capacities you dungeon crawler can become a hit since the market for portable dungeon crawlers is big. Just looks at tiny epic dungeons in Kickstarter. Also some tweaking I have made to it. I have color marked the tiles and when I lay them I do up side down and each color meaning a trap, monster or loot. I have added factions of pocket tactics to work at monsters or dwellers too. Fun this way. Also I house rule solo as added more loot and the object is to find all of the tokens and carry them back to the start tile. Monsters move automatically first checking if they can attack if they can’t the. They move towards the closest delver they have two movement points. Originally I had them moving three but it was abysmal they reached me all the time resulting in getting heated. Then I give the character three lives. Once you get defeated you respawn an at the start tile. To make it harder you get two respawns. Over all enjoyable. I also solo tactics.( not a very social guy here) looking forward to kingdoms of hell.
