Thank you for taking the time to record, edit, and post this video. I appreciate it. I'm a newbie, so I do have some questions... 1) At about 28:10, you did some manual mining at the limestone node(?). Why not just take the ore right off the conveyor belt above you? Wouldn't that have been quicker? 2) When you're at the crafting bench, and you're pushing the crafting button for a long time, it turns red, then yellow, and starts making sizzling sounds, like it's overheating. Is that effect "just for fun?", or is it *really* taking damage, and will break the crafting bench after a while? Possibly, slowing down the crafting rate? No KZbinr I've watched has mentioned that. 3) When you placed the Miners on the nodes(?), most of them were *not* pointed towards the base. Why? It seems like it would have been better that way. Your thoughts? Again, thanks for spending your time for us.

Thanks for your comments @Gary Crockett, I'll reply below: 1) The limestone was going into the Constructor, and I wanted some more limestone to manually craft without slowing down / robbing from the Constructor 2) When I first started playing I also wondered if the bench would overheat, but thankfully it doesn't :-) 3) I like to build my factories off the ground on raised foundations, so I will usually point my miners towards that future location :-D

OK, just started a couple of days ago and have 3 hand slots. Can't seem to find anything online on how to be able to hold things in BOTH hands at the same time. THe 2 extra slots just sit there useless and it's driving me crazy! How do I active them?

Great question - First, when you open your inventory you will also see your hand slots, and you can drag items from your inventory into your hand slots. Then exit your inventory and use the mouse wheel (or what even keys you've setup) to change which Item you want in your hand at a time. - Second, there is no "dual wielding" in Satisfactory - you can only hold one thing at a time. It's like an FPS which you can have multiple guns equipped but only hold one at a time. So you may have a Zapper, a Chain Saw, and a Beryl Nut in your hand slots, but you can only hold/use one at a time. Hope this helps!

how do u play this game? just to build endlessly? I am new to do this and wondering how the game works before buying it

Great question! Yes, the game asks you to build things and send them up to the corporation to progress, which unlocks new machines. The Hub that you start with has lots of things you need to unlock, as does the Space Elevator, and there's a lot of stuff to research in the MAM. And when you have more things than you need you can send them to the Awesome Sink to unlock things in the Awesome Shop. The game is still in early access so there's no end game right now, and once you have everything unlocked you can either continue to play or start over. I've played the game a lot, was just looking for tips but man, way tips many ads and for that reason, I am out.

I do the same thing - when KZbin spams me with ads I move on to another video - too bad I have no control over how many ads KZbin spams in my videos :-( All I do is check the box to turn them on, and I make about $0.10 an hour in revenue from them lol! But it pays for one half price game a month.

@@javerill Nope - I really can't figure out why they spam some videos with ads - like I said I won't watch any video that's all ads - can't wait for the Google/KZbin Files to start coming out like Twitter - maybe we'll learn something then?
