Once again you nailed it. My brother(a much better drummer than I am a guitar player) loves this song and stays after me to play it. So going out to him tomorrow in Bakersfield at an open mic at the Rustic Rail. Sure wish he was with me on stage. Kinda lonely by myself, but I'll do well thanks to this lesson and a good soundman.

Musically , Beckley has said it was inspired by Harrison’s sweet lord, and it was produced by George Martin, but lyrically he was writing how he thought Jackson Brown would write. Just some FYI.

For me, there's always an excellent takeaway in each and every one of your lessons. Today, the "incidental fingering" (of the E chord) was more of a confirmation that some incidental fingering is fine. That's actually how I've always played the E chord, but rarely see anyone utilizing it. So, thank you for the "okay" to get it how it works for me Shane.

LOL. Makes me feel OK also. Much like a tennis player whose father insisted she backhand the proper way and finally gave up. She started doing it the way that was natural to her. She became know as the meanest backhand in tennis. I do my A chord a bit different than normal with my fat fingers.
