I learned from this that you basically never use hack, unless it’s extremely important to hack the them or they were slept. I also learned that mid fight you basically just flick translocate straight up most of the time.

Watching your gameplay it seems like there's so much pressure going on from the teams. I'm playing in gold-plat and most of the time when playing Sombra I feel like I can't do much in the enemy backline except maybe get a hack out and throw a virus and jump away, but this just feels meaningless because the enemy just heals the damage back up again. Getting picks feels almost impossible since they stick so well together. More like a mosquito than an actual damage dealer. During this time my team either gets pushed or occasionally picked, probably because we're missing the second heavy damage dealer on our side. What would be the best option for me to play in this scenario as Sombra? Act like a Soldier and play on our frontline spraying with the SMG and virus?

Ive started to play Sombra since solo q'ing on support is sad right now, and I always try to go back to my sups to get healed but sometimes ill get a Kiriko that tells me to get a pack.... Im like okay so you dont want ult charge? and OFC when I do leave to grab a pack, they get dived on by sombra or tracer and yell at me for not protecting them... I mean if you would had just took the 2 seconds to heal me I would had been there already to protect you but you wanted to be like 'no' so I left.... but you still want to blame me :/

Genuine question: is it not better to just throw your virus on the tank on CD in order to keep a perma 20% anti heal on them, and then go after your own target? Healers cant really out heal your primary fire with the size change and the passive so I feel like spreading that 20% constantly (even when a tank leaves LOS and THEN they have to wait an extra 2 seconds AFTER THAT to get full heals) would be quite powerful and you are getting that juicy ult charge for free as well. Just some thoughts, dont have as many hours as yall do on Sombra haha

The problem is, all the squishy heros have 250 hp now. That combined with supports still be supporting makes Sombra's dmg less than desirable. You often need that extra 100 dmg.

in my opinion the tank will likely be taking damage from the other members of your team anyways, so you can use the extra damage and the passive from virus to guarantee elims on supports or dps
