this may prove a little more challenging but I've been looking for vids regarding dithering shaders for sega genesis in retroarch. looking for a balance between the crispness of rgb but with the transparency (ie. waterfalls in Sonic the Hedgehog) that could only appear via composite cables via a crt back in the day. HD Retrovision was working on a product called the HDMIzer which would allow this but it appears to be in development hell so far afaict

I used to have one with so many games, but it got so old, the buttons stopped working properly, the screen was all dirty inside, and this tutorial was a lifesaver to be honest

@@viissecrett My apologies that happened. I could not afford one when they were released, and though there are many used on eBay I prefer a new PSP which costs a lot. The emulator is helping me catch up with the games I wanted to try upon their release.

You could try buying a used PSP on japanese sites, they are fairly cheap but I guess shipping can be expensive

I have a PSP, it worked like a charm, spent a few hundred dollars for a new one with a bunch of games a couple years back, the darn thing ended up never being able to charge properly, so hopefully this will have the one or two games I wanna play.

Cheers dude! Just by changing the settings to non-buffered and frameskip to 1 its way faster, and resolution seems way better too

@@FreeAimDog don't know about buffering but frame skip I think is each second produces so many frames so by skipping one or few it increases the performance

@@ushilives3 i’d probably turn off frame skip then, some games run 60 fsp and it would end up running 59 fps by the sounds of it or if it runs 30 fps it would run 29 fps

Hello Sujano, so It doesn’t really work. I downloaded and uncompressed the ultimate ghosts n goblins rom. It came up as “E” drive for some reason but it displayed the ghosts n goblins logo. But when I tried to launch it it just said it was a “save game” file not a game file- and thus wouldn’t work. Any advice on how to get this game to work? Could you perhaps make a video demonstrating how to actually download a Rom file and get it to work? Maybe using g n g as an example lol?

My experience using PPSSPP with multiple games on Win10 have been wonderful and antivirus found nothing bad. The software is not hard to use if you read or watch a guide on the internet. It got tools to improve the game look, behavior and a fast forward button which I love using! Accidentally removed my earlier reply to user comment, sorry.

when i use the retroarch version, when i load yugioh tagforce i have a realy annoying problem that the letters are missing in the game text all the time and the screen looks like verrynarrow in some screens, then back to normal. and yeah, this game make this mess even in the ppsspp emulator itself, but not that much like in the retroarch

I'm merely doing it to avoid the outdated hardware and long loading times of the UMD drive. Got halfway through a game and just couldn't take the obnoxious loading screens or the crippling pain in my left thumb. I might actually get gold for this software, it's open source and the developer didn't lock features behind a paywall. I wholeheartedly support that philosophy.
