Hey thanks man -I have been playing my low C pan wrong for 2 years -self taught theory dummy thank you!! ?? so on my low C pan when playing scales etc I enter the pans higher octaves after my B note? !

I think this might be a stupid question...so sorry about that. But I'm new to steel pans and I heard that there we different types of them. Sort of like tenor/ soprano/ Alto saxophones. The same idea. if that is correct, What "type" is the one that is used in the video. Thanks.

hey - that is a Tenor pan. There are other types like Double Second, Cello and Bass, and there can even be variation between types pans, for example he's playing a High C pan, which has a slightly different range and layout to a Low C pan. Hope this helps!
