Wow, thanks so much for the wonderful comment and for watching! I'm sorry I don't have any videos about this setup as it was a house kit at a club I played at. The cymbals and snare are mine though. For the cymbals, I’m using a 20” Zildjian Kerope on the right and a 20” Zildjian K Constantinople Flat Ride on the left. I’m also using mixed 14” hi-hats, Top: K Constantinople, Bottom: K Custom Dry (both top cymbals) The snare drum is a 14"x7" African Bubinga Sakae snare drum. I hope all that helps. @@jazzdrumschool Woah, thanks for the detailed write up. I had feeling that may be a house kit. What skin is on the snare? Is it anything special? ambassador fiberskyn perhaps? or just regular coated?

​@@orpheusthedrummer i believe it's a remo Ambassador Fiberskyn on the snare. At least that is what he said in an older video and it looks like he's still using it.

Thanks for chiming in! I used to use an Ambassador Fiberskyn on my snare but changed a Diplomat about a year ago to get a more sensitive touch and response from the drum. In this video, I am using the Diplomat. It really comes down to personal taste though. Some cats like the Ambassador and some the Diplomat. I think y'all should try them both and the Calftone to see what sounds and feels good to you. Keep swinging guys 🤙
