Well lets do it this way. The strings are as follows: EADGBE That is going from biggest to smallest. So just like a tab, read the chord I made for you the same way. So when I match them up, the first chord looks like this: EADGBe x22x33 So the x means the E and the G are muted. Next, put your fingers on the second fret for A and D, and out your other fingers on the thrid fret for B and e. If this doesnt help, let me know and I will go into further detail.

great video, but you should name the chords correctly, cause its no F you play, it has an F# base over dsus4, i think. And the E is an Em7, and the C a Cadd9.

No they are not, I labeled them as is so that they would be easy to remember rather then trying to remember an em7 or other complicated chords. I plan on making a "how to read chords" video soon, but I cant say how long that will take.

tom plays this differently. on Start the Machine the DVD thing when tom was figuring out the adventure, he was using crazy chords and was somewhere further up the neck then this guy. this version is pretty good, i guess.

You can play the same stuff without the capo but your singing is going to be a lot lower. Capos are only 20 bucks and are a great investment.
