One good tip is if you can, take a fight near almost on top of a hacked health pack. Hacked health packs respawn fast enough where if youre fighting a support, they most likely wont be able to out dps the heals from the healthpacks your getting so the fight is pretty much won for you in that situation

This is a good but also bad. Most health packs are away from the objective and at higher ranks they aren't gonna be by themselves. It's better to hack them or virus them then standing on a health pack.

Man I have never had more trouble getting used to a reworked hero before than with this iteration of sombra. She used to be one of my favorite characters to play but now the only playstyle I’ve found to work is just so boring. I’m hoping some of this will help

yeah, imo she lost her nest-play trademark where i can create a forward base to flank, now she's just any other flank with debuffer ability, hell i can even call her a lesser tracer lmao

Almost any DPS is a 1 v 1 target. I mean you burn Widow, Hanzo, Ashe with the element of surprise and virus. Soldier is a little tricky, his heal station makes it a poor war of attrition. Mercy, LifeW, Lucio are easy targets alone. Ana is dangerous if she has sleep. Brig is decent, but she’s actually better to jump in a team fight when you can virus, attack from behind and make her vulnerable to fire on both sides. Zenyatta is basically like a kid in a candy store. Slow, easy to virus, easy to shoot and it’s over instantly. For Kiriko’s you wait in invis during the fight, when she uses instant transmission or suzu you hack and virus. Sometimes you kill her, but usually she’s at least low for follow up.

As a sombra main I feel pretty good I was worried but I like I can kill a lot better now i wish her smg will do just a little more damage I like it cause we can be fast and take over a fight quickly

Just push her with two people, unless she has ult, she's pretty bad when against 2 people at the same time

@ateddybear1392 depends. If you group up and get a healer to heal you while close to your team, she can't do much since she has a smg and she can't push assuming your team is nearby since that would be a death sentence

I recommend you don't wait on virus but use it whenever you got it the more dmg u farm the quicker u get your emp you don't even need virus to kill someone with the new changes your translocator is NOT your escape ability your invisibility is never throw it directly where you want to escape to unless u want to get killed by other divers running after healthpacks is a bad idea as your team is essentially fighting a 4v5

I feel like sombra have does very little to disrupt most times. It's 1 second ability block and then I'm on the back foot

Had a game that I was doing too good flanking that the enemy dps and tank we're chasing me across the map lol. (We lost sadly but I was in their head rent free)

Not that important but one thing you forgot to mention is virus actually does an initial 10 dmg on impact for a total of 110 dmg and 20 dmg on impact for a total of 120 dmg if hacked

I played her because she's fun to play, especially the use of translocator to make a nest behind enemy lines, i'm not in anyway good at fps games, but in my humble casual player opinion, the rework make her becoming non other than any other flank... its just not fun anymore

You can hack as many as you can keep up with. They are hacked for a limited duration, but can be re-hacked.
