I have yet been able to get good with T6 carriers and above. The AAA is too destructive to make them viable I think.

I used to play this game just for the RTS that carriers had. Was super fun and enjoyable, I loved everything about it. The different pov, the rts movement, the multiple roles for planes, and it felt super fun and unique to manage all your squadrons on the field... now all we got is this. I miss the old way so so much..

Like another person said in the comments, the old way of playing CV was fun and engaging and how it actually happened in WW2. As a commander of an Aircraft Carrier, you did not fly the squadron, you ordered the planes where to go, and you focused on the bigger picture. The RTS style back in the day was really fun. Perhaps WarGaming can stop listening to cry babies that do not know how to properly use AA, and let the real skill to gap players. As for the RTS, a battlestations midway style could be introduced. Coming from a player who grined the old CV line from Langley to Midway, when ESSEX was T9 back of the RTS days

There were not trio of US CVs. They were four CVs which won the battle. You forgot on Hornet and his legendary B25 attack on Japan. Btw can you fix Hornet? It has really low DPS and not very good in support role of the fleet which is shame for premium CV. Nobody plays it

Hey wows offical? can i get a response on this? Who specifically asked for any of these submarine changes? Right off the bat the submarines torpedo damage nerf was a horrible decision, Destroyers can now freely rush submarines without any consequences or effort. The increased damage is poor because submarines were strong already without it.. And most importantly, and let me highlight it *SHOTGUNNING WAS NOT COMMON ENOUGH TO BE A HUGE PROBLEM.*

Technical information lacks baddly to make sea dog bald for not knowing how many AA guns have been lost middle on the fight. My schill lost all medium caliber AA guns, and that info was nowhere to see IN the middle of fight. That needs to be fixed.

You know that subs are there in considerable part to counter CVs, right? And even if you're not willing to do that, a single DD slipping into the backline is plenty to sink a CV.

I completely agree, they actually take a lot of skill to use and are easy to sink when detected. They can sink other ships very fast while simultaneously being almost defenseless to enemy ships. It is a fair trade off.

@@Deeznuts-ev1nt A lot of the problem is that in the lower tiers players have very little idea how to fight against CVs. Which is kind of unfortunate - makes me think there should be even lower tier CVs, somehow, if only to introduce the concept to players earlier. Not sure how that would work, though.

Is this a joke or what? A CV that hides 20km from the battle and is never ever spotted is easy to kill somehow? A angled T10 CV is the tankiest ship in the entire game,top deck being immune to HE and any BB shell.@@sugarflame1833
