Correction for the nightharvester/rocketbelt vs tanks issue: Rocketbelt is more damage against tanks because of how magic resist works. You will obviously build void staff, which reduces mr BEFORE any flat pen items. So if malphite has 200 magic resist, you reduce 40% with void staff, then 18 with boots, 31 with rocketbelt (at full build), 20 with shadowflame (if malph passive has been up in the past 5 seconds). So he will have (200-80-18-31-20 = 51) magic resist against you. As opposed to with nightharvester he'd have 82, which is a huge difference. However if malph has more than 200 mr for some reason, for example 250, the rocketbelt build would reduce his mr to 112 mr (vs 143), so at that point the flat pen is pretty irrelevant and you do little damage to him anyway, so you would rather have nightharvester against him for the cdr. Nobody is almost ever going to have 250 mr though, so against tanks rocketbelt is gonna be better. That being said, I build nightharvester almost every game anyway

Correction for cannon waves: After 15 minutes every other wave is a cannon wave. And after 25 minutes every wave is a cannon wave. Great video all around though, learned a lot! :)

You're completely right about the 3 wave concept but that's how I inteded to bring it over, not sure tho if I said that it keeps up the entire game, in that case my bad xd. Also for the magic pen part. The current pen system makes sure that flat pen is more effective than it should be but ability haste is still more valuable against people who stack mr especially considering both builds path and both the weaknesses of both builds (you are likely to build shadowflame in the nightharvester build together with void but you're not likely to build both void and shadowflame in the rocketbelt build) Hope this makes sense, thank you for the comments tho, I didn't went this deep into it in the video for length purposes so this is perfect :D

Great guide! Recently picked up Vlad hearing hes the last true 1v9 if you master him and i agree after seeing what elite500 does in challenger every season lol its not easy! Twist fingers trying his hardest combos getting all the dmg with his ult on enemies smh. The no counter play combo is sweet fr ^^ many buttons much quick. Question What do you think about RIOT erasing paths to victory? Played right out of beta and to me that seems the trend. Individual skill matters much less to less champions. Carry isnt much as a thing for sure. your take?

As for your questions, I don't really bother about riot making changes to the meta and the game, after all we can discuss all we want about it but it's not going to change anything so I don't really think too much about questions like that, I just always try to analyze the meta and find the most optimal ways to carry my games and yes for me personally it has been increasingly difficult to come up with optimal ways to climb, but in the end I always find one and just like that i keep on climbing ;) Glad to have you in the community !

Hello there! If the enemy team stacks mr I'm going for ionian boots if they don't I'll opt for sorcery shoes, somtimes it's a fine line so it's based on teamcomp experience as well :).

@@luanb2108 That's not a bad way to see it but you can perfectly snowball with ionian as well but it completely depends on the enemy teamcomp if they have a lot of tanks or bruisers like set top, mumu jungle, leona supp, .. You will snowball better with inion then sorcerers.

Vlad top is viable but more of a situational pick. Vlad is vulnerable to getting all-ined and since toplane is such a long lane it's easy for enemies to do so. Matchups such as irelia, rumble, riven, ... are horrible matchups for vlad but there are also good and decent ones like jayce. How to specifically play is not something I can tell you in a comment but generally speaking you want to go a setup something like this: aery + scorch + resolve + ghost ignite + rushing AH early on (rush fiendish and ionian boots). What's your thoughts on summs? Here lately I got flash/ghost 100% of the time. I really miss ignite sometimes though but without ghost I feel like I'm useless unless flash is also up. If both summs are down I hate not being able to contribute.

I feel the same way, most of the time I go ghost flash, but if I know I can kill my lane opponent I can either go electrocute with ignite flash or aery with ghost ignite, I prefer the aery setup that way I have ghost and I prefer ghost over flash if I have to choose. For example I would go aery with ghost ignite into pantheon, sylas, ... Hope this helps :D

first strike is a scaling rune but if you're scaling then phase rush is by far best rune. Free boots are for sure good pick and I recommend picking it but future's market is rather situational. Cosmic insight is so much more important since you will have your ghost and flash more on cooldown which is crucial to carry teamfights. I explain runes more in-depth in my latest guide so that guide will help you with a lot of questions concerning runes.

@@Kyan100 btw, since i'm already talking with you: I have a huge problem to farm & play lane with my camera unlocked, since spacing becomes so hard and i often misjudge enemy skills range... Most of the time i'm just holding Spacebar (ofc except if i need to look at something further ahead like drakes, teamfights etc). Still, as soon as i enter a fight i'll lock camera again. But that kinda makes it impossible to hit a flash r q since camera will jump so you can't hit accurate fast q. Do you think i can get away with only unlocking it right before using flash combo? Or do i really have to just learn playing without locked cam all the time? :(

@@LionheartBeatz Playing with unlocked cam all the time is very bad imo. You can definitely play locked and then unlock it if you need to see something (which does happen constantly). In fight it's usually good to keep cam unlocked especially if you want to hit flank angles or do all-ins from a far like with vlad. Do whatever feels good for you, just make sure you can hit your combo's :), personally I played league for about 6 years with 2 fingers and still got high plat hahaha, so don't worry too much about that, just makes sure you can do everything you need to!
