My mistake when i first started playing was being too defensive and trying to expand like you would any other faction. With chaos you just want to sack or raze everything and just move without a purpose. No goals except ceaseless war

Khorne felt awful to play. “When all you have is a hammer-everything looks like a nail” except it isn’t, and your every enemy will bend over backwards to be anything BUT a nail. Your chosen will spend the next 20 minutes chasing down archers, cavalry, artillery and flying lords around the map, and you will spend next 3 turns recovering your hp just to repeat it all again.

You can turn aspiring champions into spawn because spawn are the result of a chaos champion receiving too many "gifts", so it represents you, uh, blessing them.

I mean, from what i know, they can also get turned into spawn if they piss off a chaos god, but is it worth it? Nah.

I'm on turn like 190 with archaeon and it's still too fun to quit. Have some 40 territory vassals. Have all the chaos LLs except sigvald and valkia and I think I'll have both in the next few turns. Kholek, a nurgle daemon prince and a slanesh daemon prince took out Cathay and have gone through the sea portal to lustria and are just razing it all. Archaeon, tznitch and a glut of daemon princes are running through the empire while azazel and some fresh armies March towards the dark elves. Funny enough, alot of the good aligned factions died early and it's been a big evil fight all over the world.

Spending souls to get units is completely worth it for hellcannon and dragon ogre shaggoth

Hellcanon is just bonkers. Soften them up for the charge, can focus down a particularly beefy unit, and use it to bait their fast movers into a defensive ambush. Playing as Sigvald, I used the 1st one you get, didn't wanna use a gift slot for it tbh.

Yeah, I agree, but I would really like it if all of them were equally fun to play and not just Archaon/Be'lakor being the best experience.

@@CultistOfkhorne I still don't understand why only Archaon/Be'lakor can confederate. It's limits replayability of the other factions when you can't run around the map collecting all the other LLs.

I’m new to war hammer but I just vassal and enforced festsus because I thought he would become legendary lord but he doesn’t show up and at around the same time I just did the same to prince sigvald but he became a legendary lord I can recruit is this a bug or does festus not become a legendary lord

You have to be playing ether Archaon, or Bel'akor to confederate other Warriors of Chaos legendary lords, and you will get a prompt saying enforce confederation, not vassalize, so maybe you just hit the wrong button.

never played Warriors of Chaos campaign in WH3. i liked them being horde faction. miss them.

I honestly liked the old ones as well, but playing them in warhammer 2 was such a pain, especially when you left a horde in the chaos wastes to fall back to if your first one died, and then the A.I. would just send armies up through there to hunt you down xd. Good times, but they are honestly much better now than than they ever were, would recommend you give them a go.
