@@laserlights9684 Han Empire was super easy, at least on launch. You start with super duper elite army that can steamroll rebellion. It can't replenish but honestly who cares, you won't take much loses anyway.

That last battle reminded me of the first time i played total war warhammer 1. Had no idea what i was doing and had really only taken the lands in my immediate vicinty ( didn't realise levelling up lords was important, was playing more like it was a civ game) then Kholek and archaon showed up and absolutely gaped me lol.

The sad part is someone at CA is probably working to patch this exploit just because they don't want people to "map clear on turn one" despite the fact that this is awful and no one would willing do it unless they are just completely cheese obsessed. I'd bet "Malus Darkblade" and "Malus Darkblade on Spite" are different entities, and actually trade places when you switch mounts. That'd explain why the game forgets you occupied a settlement, since the LL who did so is no longer leading that army. Would swapping Lords entirely still work?

I gave up on doing it but I got to around 30 hours in before I got bored doing this a while back, though I didn't know of the mount way. The other way to do this (with an army) is do the old loyalt exploit. Switch two units to a secondary army until they are 2 loyalty (over and over, if they hit 1 loyalty just keep getting them units over and over till they hit 3), try to disband one unit and they'll rebel, you then replace this lord with a new lord from the recruitment pool, even if you run out of lords one is generated. However, on turn 1 rebels aren't created as opposed to turn 2 and beyond. So this new lord and any troops, even post-occuping have full movement again. Then use the recruitment (recruitment a unit and load the save), disband the unit and it resets movement. Ironically, alongside Malus being a one-man stack, he's the only character that can do this (hypothecially) as Lokhair would eventually run out of room as the Black Arks provide the recruiting space out of your terrority, as they are the only lords that start with a black ark. This method is better although I guess you can use both, as the loyalty and recruit/load exploit gets limited by ability to recruit in areas outside Black Ark recruiting range and settled-settlements which won't have the option to recruit on turn one, anyway. For example you cannot win on turn 1 as you'll get bogged down in areas like the Northern Wastes and Cathay due to their riducilous province size, although the mount-movement exploit fixes that I guess!
