This is really helpful thank you! I think there are pros and cons with the game. CONS: it is VERY complex, I still don't fully understand yet, but this video helps tremendously. I also think the board itself is very plain looking and could have been much more epic in design. I also wish they could have found a way to incorporate your player characters in it and not generic characters. PROS: i like all the different options you have as a player, that gives it a lot of strategy. The battle dice are fun and gives it a D&D feel. The scenario aspects tying it to the main storyline is the best part. Having the players try to evacuate villagers in the last boardgame session was awesome. I don't think this game would be much fun without it being tied into the Shadows of the Dragon Queen campaign. Just my thoughts. Thanks again!

@@DLSaga It could be upgraded officially with additional scenario packs containing new commander, event, and unit cards for use in other adventures, or, with a lot of effort it's possible to homebrew your own scenarios. I`m currently working on adapting the old Battlesystem scenarios in "Dragons of War" to use this game instead for the High Clerist`s Tower siege. Unfortunately, the way things are going it looks like it`s not selling and is just being ignored by the D&D community for reasons that have nothing to do with the game. This is one of the few posts on KZbin that actually shows the game being played.

I don't think the rules are too complex, but I also don't think you actually explained how to play the game. This video would more accurately be called "Warriors of Krynn Rules Overview" - it's a good summary but it needs examples of how the rules play out in practical terms in order to really be instructive.

That's fair. It's challenging as each scenario has different goals and objectives, so an overview is all you can do without playing through the scenarios. If you are interested in seeing them played, check out my Shadow of the Dragon Queen Actual Play series. We have played the first 4 scenarios in that.

You said that class powers can only be used once per scenario but in the rule book I'm reading it can be used only once per turn but you can use multiple powers. Did read this wrong?
