@maxinegabrielah Жыл бұрын
One way of approaching the second guitar teached on this video (which would be the left channel guitar in the original recording) is tuning your guitar down a half-step, in Eb minor. That way you can use the open third string as a pedal point for the F# down one octave and still have access to the A down one octave that can be listened in the studio recording - plus being able to play the hammer-on from B to C# without needing to change hand position. You can then think the riff as -----------------------7h9------------------------ ---10-------9--------------------10---9------ -------0-------0-----------0-----------------0- 7---------7-------7-----------7-----7----7--- The second part of the riff, with the chords and stuff, won't use open strings such as the version teached in this video. You'll want to play a Gsus2 chord spanning strings 2 to 4 and then use the same shape (but barring with your pointer) to make what would be a Gsus2(#4) chord. Through each chord you'll also want to be marking the G note each 8th note. A way of notating it would be 4----------------------3--------------------- 3----------------------3--------------------- 6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6 Don't know if I'm being well-communicated since a KZbin comment may not be the best spot to expose music ideas like these but I hope it's useful to someone 👉👈

I personally have to use an audio interface and VST plugins since I live in an apartment, I am also broke so it's cheaper to have to spend 90$ once than buying tons of pedals that have varying prices. There's this weird superiority surrounding analog, and it's annoying, because you can sometimes get something just as good with VSTs, even with free plugins. All of the plugins I use for my guitar are completely free, and work well if you know how to use them. Would you consider going more into this topic in your videos?

@@ketchup696 Peavey Revalver is very good. You can copy your physical amp characteristics by recording the frequency spectrum of it but it's not very cheap and needs a USB for the license. Guitar Rig always has this annoyong high frequencies. BIAS by Positive Grid is really powerful and has the option to build your own virtual fuzz/distortion or even modulation pedals. You can even copy a physical one with it's recorded frequency spectrum. I personally love Kuassa as it's simple and super versatile and has very authentic amp characteristics. Better than all I tested so far.

I'd probably sync the delay time to the song bpm. If you just jam for yourself without an exact bpm time I'd also try to turn up or turn down the milliseconds a bit until it feels better. It's hard to tell without hearing.
