So when I download the mod itself its only giving me a file called "BiggerLobbyV1.0.9.rar" and not a folder, what did I do wrong? Edit: Also the "LC_API.dll" file isnt showing up in plugins

.rar is a file type that compresses the files and folders inside it (to make the file smaller when uploading and downloading) You can open .rar files with WinRar (it's free) which is what I opened mine with in the video

LC_API.dll should come in the same .rar file as the BiggerLobbyMod.dll - the BiggerLobbyMod download

BepInEx , LC API and Bigger Lobby are 3 separate files now , after Bigger Lobby moved to a new site and stopped including LC API. (See description) With all 3 it should work

I’m the only one that can’t connect to friends but only a couple can connect to me. Everything is downloaded properly but still can’t play with everyone. Edit: my issue turned out to be my ISP. With the new update haven’t had an issue.

As long as you have BepInEx , LC Api and Bigger Lobby Mod it might be OK... but I would expect "MOD" to show so it might be worth checking If you drag the files from all 3 downloads into the main lethal company folder again and replace duplicate files it might be a safe bet to be doubly sure

It's definitely safest to turn the mod off to join vanilla lobbies ; you * might * be able to but I haven't tested it and would expect bugs at best and an error failing to join at worst

When mods are enable the public server list changes which suggests the mod being installed changes what games you can and cannot join

Hey Merlin I have followed your steps. I have modded before so this tutorial is not anything unfamiliar to me. I installed all three files and dragged, dropped, extracted then deleted the zipped files. I then launched the game, nothing changed. Am I missing something?

With all 3 in the main game directory it should detect them and work when launching. I think it's BepInEx and LC API that are responsible for showing "MOD" in the bottom-left Worst-case I've also got a video for installing through the Thunderstore Mod Manager app which automates installing and updating when new version come out

When I specify player count I am getting issues with the game saying that there was an error syncing objects on the ship. People can connect if I don't specify player count, but I haven't been able to test with more than 4 so far so I am not sure if not specifying player count will cause the max to be stuck at 4. Is anyone else having similar issues?

Might be worth checking the latest version linked in the description. Newer versions also need LC API which is no longer packaged with the Bigger Lobby Mod - but it is in the description and installed the same way

Don’t know if this works for me. I downloaded the files including the new files needed to keep the mod running, but when I create a lobby I can’t interact with the monitor or the ship controls, and there are 3 other dummies on the ship (I say dummies because they look like player placeholders just standing on the ship.)

It should open file explorer - the window might not come up over the top of steam but it should open in the background at least

Really good question... Honestly I'm not sure, I haven't used the computer at the start of lobbies... I suspect it's just $60 and the extra hands should help get more loot in the first quota to buy everyone else some gear on day 4 , but again I'm not sure

All honesty I couldn't say for sure , not familiar with Linux... There's some updated links in the description since the latest mod versions went to a different site , could be worth checking if those work (don't forget the LC API link as well this time since it isnt in the main mod download anymore)
