A lot of people are saying you are too fast, but I liked the pace. I didn't want to watch a 20 minute intro video. Then again I've played wingspan and am just trying to get a feel for how wyrmspan compares.

It's not clear that the players get their cards first, may look at them, then choose their starting resources based on what they kept.

I think the resources and eggs are an infinite resource, so in the event that the actual tokens are running out you could use the 2x and 5x tokens with a single resource token to free up additional tokens

Hello, fellow board gamers. I need some help clearing things up, as it's a bit unclear with my gaming group. It should be pretty obvious, and I do think it's pretty obvious, but the objective tiles/cards count whoever has the most of whatever's needed, right? 'Cause the tiles/cards only says, for example, "Eggs on your player mat" or "Cave cards on your player mat." It doesn't specifically say "MOST eggs on their player mat" or something like that. Again, it might be obvious, but some players in my group disagree because it doesn't specifically say that on the cards/tiles themselves, so they argued, for the "Eggs on the player mat" one, for example, that you just need AT LEAST one egg somewhere on your player mat. Can anyone help?

It's quite similar, but it is different. I've played both and I'm preferring Wyrmspan thus far. I love the theme of dragons over birds.

There’s a sweet spot between maybe a 45 minute how to play and your 8 minute how to play. 15 minute how to play ? Try slowing down just a tad ?

He could make the video 10 minutes and profit off of your time or he could be an honest dude and make the explanation as fast and clear as he can so you can go about your day playing the game (instead of hate watching youtube). Also you can click the settings wheel and slow down the video to 75, 50 and 25 per cent!

If you don't like the format go watch another video. Personally if a rules explanation video takes more than 20 minutes it's a put off for me. If you can cover the objective and the main gameplay mechanics then I can fill in the rest with the rulebook, so this for works for me. Not everyone always has a spare hour or two to watch an entire playthrough.

Vary your tone of your sentences. I'd rather listen to Siri read me the rules then listen to one person strain themselves so much to get through a script!

@@avatterott1 thanks for the feedback, been working on that for a while and feel like I’ve gotten a lot better in more recent videos. And I wasn’t straining to get through the script, I was reading at that pace intentionally to keep it at a certain time. Half the people seem to like the pace and the other half feel like it’s too fast, and I’m taking note of the feedback and trying to find a good middle ground, but we can’t grow without trying things to see how it works. Hope you were able to at least get a feel for the rules from the video!
