For those of you that don’t know big block started in 2000!......really dude........actually people it was 1997 when the first 700 twin big block came out for Polaris

2005 RMK SLP performance edition motor , bored carbs , and the whole SLP catalog, in a 2004 switchback , complete restoration , ridiculous money ! Plus the motor is at SLP right now , ate a power valve last year , 1 inch in under 30 seconds , if I’d just have ridden the old XLT for a few more years , I could have paid cash today , for a VR1 turbo , but I like my old ride. My pto crank bearing went after 3700 miles on my 2001 rmk 700 , first time anything went on it besides voltage regulator and my low beam bulb

Polaris Big Blocks started in 1997 and only in 1997 with big purple rectangle/square head 700, they then went to the red head round design 700 600 and 800. 1997-2001 were non ves 2002-2005 was when ves came to the twins and the 600 ves was a short block.

I have a 2013 switchback assault 800 and am upgrading crank bearings and seals. Is there an all inclusive kit or, are all bearings/seals purchased separately? One of your videos talks about o-rings on the inner bearings to prevent them from spinning in the case? Thanks for your time! Dwane B.

@@rockymountainchainsaw I just pulled the motor and took the crank out... Getting ready to re assemble. Getting a service manual for this sled on Tuesday and going to finish er up this month. Im good at reading and following instructions but visuals help alot. Was able to replce my clutch with nothing but KZbin videos, so ive been looking for some bottom end vids. Lots of top end vids but nothing on bottom end. Thanks for responding quickly.
