Unless you seal that with a couple coats of UV stable 2k lacquer, be prepared to go through yhis process every few months.

Hi Mat, we have a car in Spain - so headlights are an issue when it comes to discolouration/going dull. This can be an ITV (MOT) failure - I took it to a local garage and for a few € they look like new - didn't see the process, but think it's a polish, then some sort of coating?

Good video Mat. I used a drill attachment on my car and even with masking tape managed to damage the paintwork. Since then have only done the sanding by hand. You show a lot of skill doing the sanding without using masking tape and avoiding the paintwork 👍🏻

You can go for the hand polish method but still using masking tape. Much less chance of damaging the paintwork but not as good at removing the oxidation.
