@@JennJager Im so afraid of giving my number to anyone. It’s so personal and private. I’m extremely uncomfortable with companies knowing my number. It literally never fails that after having to give my number I get hundreds and hundreds of texts calls and emails for months. Right now I get about 7-10 calls a day and about 35-40 texts a day from solicitors. Is there any way around giving out my number?

I almost always add background music to my videos which I get from sites like FREE MUSIC ARCHIVE, FREESOUND, etc.. The sites I use often say I can use the music so long as I show attribution, which I always do either within the video with a text overlay in post production or at the end. Lately, however, I've been getting notices from KZbin which say they've detected a copyright claim and that a portion of the musical background will be muted. It never is and the alert also mentions that only I can see the alert. What's up with that? I respect musicians, never want to steal their work, and if they allow me to use it by simply giving them credit in the video, I'm happy to do that. So why is KZbin flagging the video, yet letting it be viewed unaltered?

Hello Jen (or anyone else on this platform), I’m new to KZbin, having just uploaded my first video this past Monday. Thank Jenn for this post it guided me through the process. Unfortunately the device I used is my phone and for some reason, the phone doesn’t give me all the editing options listed on your post. Can you (or someone suggest a good but inexpensive laptop that I can purchase to use when editing, art videos to be posted on KZbin. Alternatively if in-fact all the editing options are available on a phone or tablet can you point me towards where I may learn to use it more thoroughly. Thank you. Shaya

Jenn, excellent video making everything clear. Just one question. I have a slideshow prepared to upload. The Intro Screen, the first slide, to me would make a nice thumbnail. It's simple, clean, and show the title clearly. It would catch your eye right away among all the busy thumbnails. How can I make that my thumbnail. I understand that if I don't chose one, KZbin's going to pick a random frame for me. Is there a way to avoid that? Thanks in advance.

I have been making a playlist of my music performance videos. I make them ‘Unlisted” to avoid copyright locks because they are all covers of well known songs and it’s just for friends and I don’t care about monetization. It’s been a year since my last upload from my iPad. Things on KZbin must have changed again. I struggled to get a new video uploaded. I thought there was a “Publish” step, needed to make a video sharable or appear in listing, but I couldn’t find it, and instructional KZbins don’t seem to mention “Publish”.
